No explanation is given how Eugene's group escape from a locked cage and acquire two guard uniforms. It is implied the uniforms came from the two guards that Princess thinks are a couple but they would still have to escape a locked cage, deal with the all other guards watching them (shown to be at least two right by their cage and others nearby), find whatever secret place the lovers are hiding in and disable them without raising an alarm.
Maggie has a great deal of experience surviving in hostile areas, but she picks up a stuffed animal even though it easily could have been booby trapped.
