Outstanding Concert by a Music Legend
This concert is a pure joy to watch and listen to. One reviewer says Tom Petty is not a great singer but seems like a nice fellow. I beg to differ his voice is unique and he sings with his soul so to speak - a bit like Dylan you either get it or you don't. Tom Petty has written some classic songs either on his own or in collaboration with others and is a musical legend. As always his band (The Heartbreakers) are exemplary in this concert. The concert kicks off in style with "Baby Please Don't Go" and the band shows their individual talents with the outstanding "Melinda". Great to hear the classic "Little Red Rooster" sung by Tom with such feeling and blue tone with the band demonstrating their individual talents once again. The audience really got into this number as well.
I recommend this concert to all serious rock and blues lovers - Tom Petty left us too early and had lot more music in him - RIP
