Mr. Wilson writes an observation article. Really it's more about participation. He lives the life of a boy for his article. It's a riot when he runs into the freelance photographer. Eloise helps with the humor. And Seymour helps elicit a Gunsmoke reference. You can't have a kiddie episode without ice cream. It's tally time too. Good for Wilson his day is tax deductible. Doesn't seem his writing is a hobby. John Wayne and Mickey Rooney encountered laughs as well with a burro. Additional sight gag for this movie. Fortunately Gale Gordon is a comic trooper. He can do slapstick with the best of them. Writing is an adventure. We get reminded episode after episode.
