Eva explains that the mirror realm was an entire world with one inhabitant. She tells Iris that they're in another dimension, and all the buildings are empty. Eva picks up a book and Iris realizes that it and everything else is backwards. The prisoner says that they're trapped in a fractal dimension, and Iris notices a fractal pattern on a computer screen and winces from a headache. Eva says that she was working on accessing other dimensions when the dark matter explosion occurred. It created a portal that sucked her into the other dimension. Iris figures that there's someone else that is now loose in the real world, and Eva figures it's a fractal duplicate. She says that she hasn't been able to escape in six years, and is relived that now there's six of them.
In his office, Ralph records the 274th of his log about how he's been unable to find Sue. He first tried to kill Sue in her sleep.
Ralph starts to call Sue's parents, and Sue takes it away and says that Loring is monitoring her phone and will kill her if she goes to her parents. Loring also has CCPD officers on his payroll, and Ralph tells Sue that she can't run forever. Sue says that Loring is in town for a massive arms sale, and once she gets him arrested she can go home. Ralph explains that he was paid to take Sue home, and he'll bring Loring in. Sue insists on coming with Ralph, noting that her parents are out good money if he dies.
In the mirror dimension, Eva tells Iris that their only two options are survival or madness. She says that she tried to escape 1,322 times and failed every time. Eva asks Iris to not to give her hope, and Iris says that they just need one way out and remembers Sam Scudder. Scudder trapped someone in a mirror years ago and they got the prisoner out by freezing it to absolute zero. Eva points out that she has a lab with liquid nitrogen, and figures that slowing the mirror's molecules could work.
Barry arrives at the CCPD, and Joe asks him to take a second look at a case where the "victim" died of smoke inhalation in a fire. Barry says that he has a mountain of unsolved cases, and Joe tells him to bring anything he finds to him.

She refuses to partner up with someone who doesn't think she can pull her weight, and Ralph says that he doesn't drop a case until he solves it. They agree to work together, and Sue says that Loring's office has evidence. They figure they can slip in when the guards change shifts.
Cecile sees Sue and comes over to congratulate Ralph. She then offers to cover Sue's possible criminal case, and Ralph leads Cecile off and explains the situation. Cecile says that the two of them are similar emotionally, and Ralph insists that they're not dating.
In the mirror dimension, Eva freezes the mirror with liquid nitrogen. It shatters and Eva lashes out in frustration. She then starts laughing, saying that she thought she was going back to her own life. Iris assures her that she will, and Eva says that she and Joseph were in love but then she watched him through the mirror for five years as he mourned and then moved on. Eva admits that she can't move on.
At STAR Labs, Iris searches the Starchives and finds the mirror gun. Nash comes in and they startle each other, and Iris claims that she lost something down there. She asks what Nash was doing there, and Nash says that he was taking an inventory but then lies as he sees Harry standing behind Iris. Iris says that she was looking for Nora's journal, and maybe she should live in the present. Harry tells Nash that it's difficult for him to live in the present when he as so much unfinished business. Iris doesn't hear Harry, and swears Nash to secrecy claiming it would upset Barry. They agree to keep each other's secrets. Once Iris leaves, Nash looks at the diary of Harry that he found.
That night, Sue and Ralph sneak into Loring's warehouses. Guards spot them and open fire, and Ralph and Sue run up to Loring's office and search for the evidence. Ralph finally finds a key for5 a safety deposit box and figures Loring has his ledger there. The guards shoot through the door, and Sue and Ralph run up to the roof. Ralph grabs Sue and tells her to hang on, then stretches over to the next building and swings across with her. On the other roof, Sue realizes that Ralph is Elongated Man.
Back at Ralph's office, Sue is surprised to learn Ralph is a superhero. She asks what it's like, and Ralph says that it's rewarding as hell. He tells her that once they have the ledger, Sue can go back to her life. She says that Ralph trusting her with his secret means a lot, and says that Loring could get the ledger at any minute. Sue suggests that they break into the bank and take the ledger. Ralph refuses to commit a crime, and Sue says that she respects it but she's not a hero and she'll do what she has to so she can get back to her parents. Her refuses to let her do it alone, but says that once they get the ledger they'll take it to his friends at the CCPD. Sue agrees to the deal.
Barry tells Joe that the fire was started by UV rays, the same way that Light torched the Citizen. Joe tells Barry that there are other cases where the victims were Carver's enemies, and he figures someone in the CCPD is his mole. Barry mentions Iris checking the mirror gun, and Joe tells him that they can only trust their information with family.
In the mirror dimension, Eva tells Iris to accept she won't escape. Iris tells Eva that she can start a new one, and Eva says that she's glad the mirror is broken because she's tired of looking at a world that doesn't want her. Ralph tells her that he used to be a cop and he got lost when his career ended. He tells Sue that there's hope for her, and Sue asks for the key.
Sue opens the deposit box, takes out a box, and then kicks Ralph and locks him in the vault. She tells him that she's full of surprises like Ralph and leaves.
Ralph discovers that the vault is electrified, and Sue opens the case to reveal the jewel Loring had in the case. The PI realizes that Sue rigged her apartment to explode to get Ralph's sympathies, and she tells Ralph that Ralph sees the best in people while she sees what she wants. Ralph figures that she played everyone, and says that if her parents found out she was a thief, they'd be devastated. She offers to keep Ralph's identity secret if he doesn't tell her parents about her, and leaves the vault. Loring and his men are waiting, guns drawn, and Sue claims that she's a CCPD officer. The arms dealer knows that someone broke into his fault and figures Sue is the thief.
Ralph stretches out through the sprinkler system, turns into Elongated Man, stretches into the bank main room, and surrounds Sue with her body to protect her from Loring and his men shooting at her. Sue tells Elongated Man to do nothing, and he points out that it's all her fault. They hear Loring and his men hit the floor. Elongated Man drops his shield, and they discover that Ultraviolet has knocked out Loring and his men.

Loring and his men prepare to shoot Elongated Man, and Flash arrives and handcuffs them.
Joe and his men arrive. The bank manager figures Joe robbed them, and Flash says that it's a case of mistaken identity. Joe takes the manager aside to explain, and Flash tells Elongated Man that Ultraviolet escaped. Elongated Man says that they'll get her, and tells his friend that he wasn't talking about Ultraviolet.
Later at STAR Labs, Barry notes that facial recognition isn't picking up Sue anywhere in Central City. Ralph says that Sue played him, and goes to tear up his crime board. Iris figures it will take a while for Ralph to get over the betrayal. Barry gets the mirror gun and gives it to Iris, saying that he and Joe found evidence linking Black Hole to more murders. He tells Iris that if she can use it her investigations to bring down Carver and Black Hole, the better. Barry assures Iris that he trusts her, and Iris thanks him and leaves... secretly smiling.
The real Iris tells Eva that she has a connection to the mirror. She says that Eva is a survivor and she should prove it. Eva mentally reassembles the mirror by telekinetically controlling the pieces, and the mirror shows Barry in his apartment. Barry looks at the mirror, and Iris whispers that she's still with him. When she touches the mirror, the image of Barry disappears. Eva wonders how she reassembled the mirror, and Iris tells her that they'll figure it out.
In her hideout, Sue scans the gem she stole, and nearby is an art6icle about McCulloch being compromised by Carver's actions. Sue smiles as the logo of Black Hole is revealed on the gem, and says "Game on".
