- Konstantin tries to run; Eve and Villanelle try to work out what the future may hold for them.
- Royal Albert Hall, London: Villanelle walks up a staircase. Upstairs is deserted, but there is classical music coming from below. Carolyn is waiting for her and asks her what she wants. Villanelle says she wants to accept her job offer. Carolyn says what about Helene? Villanelle says Helene loves her a bit too much. She got promoted, but she's looking for a new challenge, but not killing. Carolyn asks her who killed Mo, or her son. Villanelle says she doesn't know. Carolyn says good luck and leaves.
Konstantin is sitting up in his hospital bed. The doctor is listening to his heart. He asks to be discharged. She leaves. He disconnects all his sensors and gets dressed. He tells Dasha, who is still bandaged and bruised in her bed, that he's saying goodbye. She says it's dangerous to discharge yourself. He says it's more dangerous staying. She asks him whether he's done something naughty but claims she's heard nothing. She asks him whether he's going to find her, who with Eve did this to her. They bicker about who trained Villanelle better.
Villanelle is sitting alone at a table in a ballroom, watching couples dance. Eve joins her and asks, "Why here?" Villanelle wonders what she would have become if not a killer. She wants to feel happy, like the dancers. A staffer encourages them to dance. Eve gets up and cajoles Villanelle into joining her. Villanelle sees Rhian enter and makes Eve leave, saying only that their party's being crashed and slipping Eve a piece of paper which Villanelle says will give Eve her freedom. Rhian says Helene wants to see Villanelle, who acts hostile and asks where, but Rhian just leaves.
Villanelle and Rhian are waiting at a subway platform, sparring verbally. Rhian tells her to come quietly, that it's better for her that Villanelle has checked out. Villanelle beats her up and kicks her onto the track, where she is run over by a train.
In Carolyn's apartment, Geraldine reads her an acknowledgment of how she, Geraldine, has judged Carolyn and otherwise done her wrong and asks for her forgiveness and acceptance. Carolyn says she thinks it's time Geraldine left, that living with her mother is no life for her, and that's all she wants to say. She denies that it has anything to do with not finding Kenny's killer, etc.
Croydon, South London: Eve goes to a betting shop that is named on the paper she got from Villanelle, along with "Bruce", and some numbers and letters. After some embarrassment trying to communicate with the agent, Eve sees "Bruce Fletcher" on the wall, learns that he is the owner, and asks to speak with him. She shows him the paper. He says this is the Russian's box and doesn't believe he sent her, but she gets him to let her open the box, from which she takes a small package.
Carolyn enters Bitter Pill, where Jamie, Bear, and Audrey have summoned her urgently, and is slightly hostile to all of them, who are being deferential. Bear says a couple of months ago he set up a secret camera to see who was dipping into his supply of sweets, but the thefts stopped and he hadn't checked it until now. It shows it was Kenny. From the day Kenny died, it shows Kenny leaving with Konstantin.
Eve leaves the betting shop. Konstantin is outside. He asks for the package but she resists. He says Villanelle asked her to get it so she could give it to him because it's a gift for his daughter. She opens it and finds nesting Russian dolls. He reveals that there is a bar code on it that leads to another box with money, passports, etc. He starts to collapse and she walks him away slowly.
Villanelle enters Bitter Pill and tells Audrey she has a meeting with Eve, who is not there. Villanelle says she'll wait and sees the evidence of various murders left on bulletin boards. They all realize who she is. Konstantin calls and asks her to tell Eve to give him the package, but she says he'll only leave her behind. Konstantin tells her to meet them. Villanelle acts a little scary but then leaves.
Paul calls Konstantin and says he knows he's been stealing money from the account, and he wants him at his house in half an hour. We then see that someone is holding a gun on Paul.
Konstantin tells Eve there's a change of plans. Eve insists on going with him. He won't tell her anything.
Konstantin and Eve enter Paul's house. It was Carolyn holding the gun. Villanelle arrives. There is some amusing dialog as everyone tries to figure out what is going on. Konstantin says Paul's the one who has been giving him orders, and that Carolyn knows he, Konstantin, has been working for the Twelve, FSB, the British Security Service. Paul says that's why they've been investigating Konstantin. Konstantin says Paul is the Twelve. Villanelle asks Paul whether he knows Helene, says it was a toxic workplace. Eve asks Paul whether he ordered Dasha to kill Niko. Paul says he doesn't know any of those people. Konstantin says Dasha is dead. Carolyn asks Konstantin why he killed her son. Konstantin says they were on the rooftop because Kenny was getting too close to the Twelve, and he told Kenny he had to come work for the Twelve if he wanted to live. Paul says he's lying. Konstantin says Kenny got scared, stepped back, and fell. Carolyn doesn't believe Konstantin and tells him to get down on his knees. He says why not Paul also? She says because she doesn't care about Paul, but she did care about him. She puts the gun to his forehead. He asks Villanelle to do something. Suddenly Carolyn shoots Paul in the forehead. She tells Konstantin to go before she changes her mind. He takes the package and asks Villanelle why she isn't coming. She says, "You're not family." He leaves.
Eve says why kill Paul? Paul had everything they wanted to know about the Twelve. Carolyn says Paul was a traitor, that he had Mo killed when he found the evidence. Eve says it was Konstantin who killed her son. Carolyn says no, she, Carolyn, is responsible for Kenny's death, that she has come to realize you can't destroy the Twelve. Villanelle says Eve should listen to Carolyn, who says I know it, Villanelle knows it, and it's time you went cold turkey. Eve says, "What do you mean?" Villanelle scoffs. Carolyn says, "You know precisely what I mean." Eve looks at them in silence and walks quickly out. Villanelle goes to follow Eve. Carolyn calls Hugh and says, "A suicide."
Villanelle runs to catch up to Eve in the middle of the Tower Bridge. They each claim to have killed Dasha. Villanelle says well then we both did -- isn't that romantic? Eve says we're the only people who would think that. Villanelle says she doesn't want to do any of it any more. Eve says she, Eve, used to be like everybody else, but now when she thinks about her future all she can see is Villanelle. Villanelle says you were never like them, and asks whether she ruined Eve's life, whether Eve thinks Villanelle is a monster. Eve says we all have monsters inside of us, but we keep them hidden. Villanelle says I haven't. Eve says neither have I. Villanelle says she thinks her monster encourages Eve's. Eve says she thinks she wanted it to, and asks for help making it stop. Eve says it's easy, and has them stand back to back. Villanelle says now we walk, and never look back, and walks away. Eve walks a short distance. They both stop, looking unhappy. Eve turns around. Then Villanelle turns around.
