I should have quit this once great show after season three. This overlong, idiotic kidnap scheme is just tedious and stupid. Much like the lame TV show Hawaii Five-0, which eventually resorted to having one or more of the major characters getting kidnapped or held hostage practically every other week, this kind of ridiculous, steaming loaf of a plot is a sure sign the writers have given up trying. But every one of the actors tries their best to save this slop and they put on great performances. Even the small parts are always funny, like the conservative TV producers who manipulate Elliott. But the writing! Typical extreme left-wing, political pandering on top of a lame lack of creativity.
And I have to ask, how does this show get away with depicting EVERY gay male character as a prancing, squealing, flamboyant, narcissistic, overly emotional, self-absorbed, arrogant, cry-baby drama queen? Every one of them. I mean, sure, it's funny, but try inflicting such stereotypical behavior on every character based on their race and see how far you get. I'm not offended, but I am curious.
