Drake may be looking to hire some new security personnel.
During a recent performance on his It’s All A Blur tour, the Toronto rapper found himself dealing with an overeager fan who made it onto the stage from the audience.
“Y’all not doing security out here?”
As fan-shot video posted on social media demonstrates, Drake is speaking to the audience when he suddenly notices the guy walking toward him, hand outstretched as if he wants a handshake.

Drake, however, isn’t having it, and gives the fan a gentle shove, just enough to push him a few feet back.
Drake then acquiesces and shakes his hand, with the fan placing his arm around Drake’s neck while he guides him off stage.
At that point, Drake takes a shot...

In Richard Linklater’s “Hit Man,” truth proves stranger than fiction. Based on Skip Hollandsworth’s Texas Monthly piece of the same name from 2001, Linklater’s newest film follows Glen Powell as Gary Johnson, a man so good at pretending to be someone else he could convince clients he was a cold-blooded contract killer. In real life, after Johnson confirmed with a client he’d been hired to murder someone, recording the conversation for evidence, the police would arrest the person afterward.

Exclusive: There has been mystery for weeks over which Hollywood talent will attend the Venice Film Festival amid the two strikes but the clouds are finally starting to lift.
We’ve confirmed with sources that Ferrari star Adam Driver will be on the Lido next week to promote Michael Mann’s anticipated new movie, thus becoming the biggest U.S. actor to date to commit to the festival. The Daily Mail first reported that news.
Ferrari secured an interim agreement from SAG a while back so this isn’t hugely surprising but there was still a question over whether SAG actors would feel uncomfortable over the ‘optics’. They may still. But SAG-AFTRA leadership were adamant yesterday that actors in movies with interim agreements should be at festivals to promote them. Their message: this is helpful to independent cinema and the cause. That affirmation from SAG helped a number of actors make up their minds.

No filmmaker in Iran is immune to the pressures of censorship. Movies made in the country must gain approval from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance not only for distribution purposes but for shooting permits as well. For directors and producers with stories that violate government standards — say, a scene where a woman removes her traditional headscarf, or another violation of Islamic law — the options for maintaining creative freedom are simple: Submit a script with the offending scenes removed, then shoot them anyway. Or hit the road.
Panah Panahi took the second option for his acclaimed debut, but “Hit the Road” is hardly an anomaly. “In a sense the car becomes a second house for us Iranians,” Panahi said in a phone interview with IndieWire ahead of his movie’s U.S. release. “There is a level of security inside the car. That’s why you see so many road films.

BTS fans, brace yourself: a new album is finally coming this summer! The K-pop group teased the news of their next album Saturday night during the last show of their Las Vegas residency. Billboard reported that BTS played a teaser video for fans in the crowd - which featured a montage of black-and-white clips of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rm, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - alongside a tagline that read, "We Are Bulletproof." They ended the video with the date "2022.06.10."
On April 17, BTS shared the same clip with the rest of their fans via social media, making the news official. Their label, Big Hit Music, also confirmed the news in a post on Weverse, according to Variety. "This is Big Hit Music. BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022," the label wrote. "Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date.

Moretz said ‘it would be fun’ to see what Hit Girl is like as an adult. That will only be true if the studio avoids the shallowness of Kick-Ass 2 and returns the saga to its renegade roots
Let’s not forget the impact Matthew Vaughn’s original Kick-Ass movie made in 2010. Based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr, this was Watchmen’s punky little kid brother, a spiky, primary-coloured black comedy about real-life superheroes for the social media age. Its undoubted star was 12-year-old Chloë Grace Moretz as foul-mouthed, deadly preteen Hit Girl, a role you knew she’d absolutely nailed when the Daily Mail called her “one of the most disturbing icons and damaging role-models in the history of cinema”. Aaron Taylor-Johnson seemed perfectly cast (if a little overly buff) as the nerdy title character, who finds himself biting...

It is very sad to see a monkey die. That fact is not in question. If there’s any reason to care about “Marvel’s Hit Monkey,” the latest Hulu attempt to slap some title branding on a comic book adaptation in the hopes of luring in some eyeballs, it’s that someone should definitely answer for the monkeys dying.
As the name of the show might indicate, the one to mete out that vengeance is Hit-Monkey, a Japanese macaque whose quest to track down those responsible for the murder of his tribe leads the 10-episode season along a river of blood and a dense network of criminals and assassins. Monkey’s compatriot along the way is human hitman Bryce (Jason Sudeikis), dispensing his workmanlike knowledge of the Tokyo underworld to help guide Monkey through the big city.
If this were actually Monkey’s show, “Hit-Monkey” would be better for it.

More than a decade after the Marvel Cinematic Universe helped establish the comic book publisher as the premier brand in entertainment, the company has had to dig deeper into its canon of characters for new adaptations. That means things are going to get weird and pretty unique in some cases. Such is the cast with "Hit-Monkey," the latest Marvel animated series, which stars Jason Sudeikis, George Takei, Olivia Munn, and Fred Tatasciore, which makes its way to Hulu this week.
Following in the footsteps of "M.O.D.O.K." this show is quite unlike what many viewers associate with the Marvel brand, but it's very much...
