Brilliantt as usual. The actor playing Deborah was in a previous series playing a completely different character called Claire whom Adam picked up in a bar in the episode where he was diagnosed with cancer back in 1999/2000 in the show's original incarnation! Either there's a new storyline based on a name change/witness protection programme theme or the team behind Cold Feet didn't think anyone would notice!

Another poor episode.

I used to enjoy watching cold feet but now I feel that my wife is forcing me to watch. It used to have a pleasant mix of drama, emotion and comedy. Now it's overly ham fisted full of cheap tear jerky moments but it's sadly lacking the comedy that kept the show interesting for me and not bogged down in tacky sentiment.
IMHO they gave the wrong character cancer, she was comic relief in a matter of fact way. Flipped her to be very maudlin (as one would expect from a cancer survivor) so now you're left with several protagonists with similar whiny self pitying traits.
Three stars for David, the only decent character.
