Edie goes on the offensive, now supported by her boss and the local Police departments, but as criminals run riot, Purdue double down, and insist that users are the problem, not oxycontin.

This series is proving to be unexpectedly addictive viewing, I thought it was maybe a little slow to start, but it's improving with each episode, this was very good.

Great that we got an insight into what is motivating Edie, Uzo Aduba gives a fine performance here, some quality acting, that scene where she explains her family situation was an excellent moment.

Glen's story continues to intrigue, and you can definitely see the blame game, poor Tyler gets the blame, but then it's always easier to blame someone else.

'What's the fascination with money?' ...finally someone has asked Shannon the question, she is definitely a little naive to realise what she's been doing, and just how far she's expected to go.

It shows you the power of semantics, the odd word here and there can convince people of anything.

Those introductions are proving powerful, they're making this feel very real.

Very good,

8/10.
