Warning: Spoilers
Pete Doyle is about to go free. He has had a change of heart in prison. When we first meet him, he is conducting an A.A. meeting. He is convincing; Pete is a man that has seen the light and has repented from his earlier life of crime. Unfortunately, things aren't easy for men that are released from prison. They have a tough time getting meaningful jobs, which is what Pete finds soon enough.

Although Doyle has reformed, his past comes back to haunt him. His own son, who is living with his mother and step father, holds a grudge against his old man, who he feels abandoned him. Even his son's name is now different, he is Petey Murphy! The former con is also reminded of what he has to face in the streets when his former associate, Tommy Connell comes back to make a proposition to him. It is supposed to be a robbery to an armored car. What really shocks Pete Doyle is to learn who has been the master mind on the planned caper: his own son, Petey Murphy!

Eddie Saccardo, appears at the Cold Case office. He is a detective assigned to the narcotics division. He arrives with food and drink for his colleagues. While everyone seem so receive this man with open arms, Lilly Rush doesn't quite like what she sees. She appears to be at odds with this man.

Alex Zakrzewski directed this episode, based on the screenplay written by Christopher Silber. The director gets good acting in general from his regulars and the guest stars. Bobby Cannavale plays Eddie with his usual insouciance. Kathryn Morris has some good moments. John Piper-Ferguson is seen as Pete Doyle. Maurey Sterling and Paul Wesley are fine also.
