Last Monday, CBS reran this episode from last October and since I couldn't watch TV at the time because of the events of Hurricane Gustav, I taped it. Leonard has been sleeping just after work because of an exhausting project. That's too bad for Sheldon since he can't drive and won't take the bus because they would not let him use the bungee cord for a seat belt. But after disastrous ridings with Penny, Howard, and Raj, they all intervene and tell Sheldon he should take a driving test. Because the lady in the counter doesn't want to have go from her desk and clobber Sheldon for his ridiculous questions, she gives his learner's permit. So now, with Howard's video game contraption, the gang guides Sheldon in his driving lesson. Too bad he ends up in a mall. So with that, Sheldon decides he's not meant for driving and decides to sleep at the university. By this time, Leonard's finished his project for a week but Sheldon doesn't know and now overnight he's got some Spanish maids scared with his leaving of bread crust and appearing in a dark hood nightgown...Quite a hilarious episode what with Sheldon annoying everyone with his constant jabbering though nothing topped his screaming like a little girl when he rode on back of Howard's scooter! Also funny was Penny hitting Sheldon's stomach with a pillow during the "driving" test to simulate an air bag. So on that note, The Euclid Alternative was the funniest episode of "The Big Band Theory" I've seen so far this season.
