- A devious Tricia plays on Vera's sympathy when she calls at the flat. Denise brings Daniel to see Ken but warns that he has a fight on his hands. Andy decides that Curly can stay as long as he wishes.
- Knowing Vera is going to visit, Tricia turns the heating off so the flat is cold. Alma tells Mike she bumped into Stephen and had a drink with him. He's instantly suspicious. Andy tells Curly he can stay with them as long as he likes and that he and Anne don't see eye to eye all the time. Ken is surprised when Denise turns up with Daniel. She asks Ken to look after him overnight as she and Brian Dunkley have business, trying to make him see she is not the enemy and she does want him to be part of Daniel's life. Ken happily takes care of Daniel. Vera is appalled by the cold flat and insists the Armstrongs move back to the Rovers permanently. Tricia agrees, but only if Jack says they're welcome. Vera assures her Jack won't complain and works on him until he agrees. Andy tells Anne that Curly is welcome to stay as long as he likes. Anne is too tired to argue after a long day at work. Jack tells Tricia she's welcome as she and Jamie move back in. Stephen tells Mike that he feels his involvement with Don will tar Kbec's image so he's cancelling the contract between them. Mike and Alma are stunned.—GusF
