A festive edition of costume drama Lark Rise To Candleford pulled in the day's best ratings on Sunday. The special episode, which precedes the launch of the second series in January, had 6.37m (25.3%) for BBC One between 7.45pm and 9pm. It beat ITV1's medical drama The Royal, which had 4.6m (18.2%) in the 8pm hour. A visit from Prince Charles to Antiques Roadshow was seen by 6.16m (26.6%) from 6.45pm, outrating ITV1's Alan Titchmarsh At Christmas, with 2.9m (12.8%) over an hour from 6.30pm. A You've Been Framed! Christmas Special pulled in 3.89m (16%) for ITV1 from 7.30pm. A Sunday night edition of Casualty delivered 6.08m (24.5%) to BBC One in the 9pm hour, outdoing the Robson Green drama Clash Of The Santas, which averaged 5.3m (23.7%) for ITV1 until 11pm.
