Rani Mukeji’s Hichki is a huge success, not only receiving rave reviews (we gave it 4 stars calling it her career best), plus getting great box office numbers but the coolest thing is that it is also really touching audiences who absolutely love the film and her performance.
Recently, Rani Mukerji and the team of Hichki celebrated the film’s astounding success at a special party hosted for the media at Yash Raj studios. Director Sidharth Malhotra and producer Maneesh Sharma opened the celebration with a heartfelt conversation around the journey of the film, and Rani remained the star of the moment with her warm effervescence.
In the spirit of celebrations and victory for a good, entertaining film, a cake was cut and everyone cheered for the return of Rani with a brilliant story that’s won over audiences, hiccups intact.

Everybody loves a comeback. Let it be from time off for a wedding, a break or in this case a bouncing new baby.
Bollywood is ready for the return of its very own queen, Rani Mukerji.
The Filmfare award winner is known for her husky voice, small stature, and the talent that can go toe to toe with some of the film industry’s heavy weights.
Mukerji will be releasing her first film, Hichki, since the birth of her daughter Adira (with Producer Aditya Chopra) in 2015. Mukerji was last seen on the silver screen as a police officer in Sardeep Sarkar’s 2014 crime thriller Mardaani.
The film, which is slated to release the 23rd of February 2018, is based on Brad Cohen’s book, Front of the Class. With Hichki, she will be seen in a positive and inspiring story about a woman who turns her biggest weakness into her greatest strengths.

The trailer of Hichki was released yesterday; it’s a film that deals with a novel concept of a woman suffering from Tourette Syndrome. As soon as the trailer was out, the internet was abuzz that it’s eerily similar to the 2008 Hollywood film Front Of The Class. It is inspired by the life of Brad Cohen, who in reality suffers from Tourette Syndrome. In both the films, the lead protagonist suffers from this condition and yet, wants to be a teacher. Both the protagonists are heard saying that teaching is the only profession they want to pursue! The similarities are too many to ignore.
