Heartbreaking

This was one of the heaviest hitting episodes of the show for me. That actually has me a little stunned.

Creative script!

Usually Netflix is the kiss of death for shows they acquire, due to horrendous writing, but kudos to the script writers for Lucifer. This plot was quite creative!

Warning: Spoilers
So we're doing Doctor Who? I'm down.

Cause you can't tell me it's just a coincidence that there is a time travelling daughter who meets her parents who don't know her yet and her name is RORY!

WOW

This episode was defiantly a heavy one! The scene between Chloe and Lucifer and their fight was that intense I felt it so deeply, it turned my stomach. Just shows how amazing these actors are to get you feeling such emotions when watching!

Really?

What I find most annoying is a time travelling daughter goes back to before she's even born to blame her biological dad for leaving her when she didn't exist. Logically, he didn't leave her if he didn't know she existed. It makes no sense and yet they're making it a huge plot point. For me, this is the most far fetched and unimaginative plot they've gone with.

Groan

Warning: Spoilers
It's all so far fetched. It's like cosmic cosplay with ancient beings who are possibly dumber and more naive than any human. A couple seasons so, the show was clever how it married psychology with Lucifer's evolution, but now it's just a weak soap opera where any dumb surprise can happen. The whole thing with Lucy's daughter is incredible dopey. Please, please, no season 7.

Another boring episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Why did they have to go down the old time travel route? It has been so overdone. And with a murderous daughter too! Groan. What has happened to this show? Lucifer would never abandon a daughter if he knew he had one. Why did they feel the need to make the husband gay in this? What did that achieve? Do the writers just shoehorn in a certain number of gay/bi characters each season whether they fit the plot or not? Very slow boring episode.

Angry girl is always a weak plot
dshell1025 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Angry girl comes in not trying to figure it out, just trying to blame people.

It was such a weak, annoying plot.

They toss in time travel and whiny girl becomes even more annoying.

She's not thinking, just angry with Lucifer. That's not a story, that's just a mess - a girl who needs lots of therapy. It would be one thing if she's trying to solve the mystery, but no, she just wants to be angry.

It was a plot to distract and slow the progress of the overall plot.

Yes, some plots are far more annoying and dreary than they are entertaining, and this was a perfect example.

I didn't find this plot enjoyable at all.
