The story of Estibel, a 11 year-old migrant child, inside one of the largest child detention centers in the United States, who is awakened to the realities many young children are facing today, under the supervision of ICE.
After attempting to cross the border into the U.S. with his father, young Estibel is locked in an ICE detention center in Texas with several other women and children. He befriends an Officer and another detainee, but after ultimately being involved and witnessing a traumatizing event, he must learn how to navigate his new life in this facility and come to terms with the realities of abuses happening in order to right this wrong.
