It was decent. I'm hoping that this season will be more entertaining than the previous two seasons.

Warning: Spoilers
It wasn't until the U. S. Marshal(s) showed up that I started to get into it. From that point onward, the episode was entertaining. I do think that the 6-feet-apart joke at the beginning of the episode, referring to COVID-19, was pretty lame. I guess some people may have found/find that funny, but I didn't.

The premise for this season, I'm guessing, will revolve around going to Oregon. Pretty obvious, I know. Maybe the U. S. Marshals will play a part in the adventure by continuing to track Benny all the way there and occasionally causing problems for this season's cast of characters here and there. Or maybe that will be the role of Karan Soni's character. I wonder if people from their group will start dying off or being killed throughout the season to where only Ezekiel, Benny, Prudence, Todd, The Gunslinger/Bounty Hunter/Karan Soni's character, and maybe (Farmer) John/the black guy are the people left by the finale.

For me, there were four moments the stood above the rest of the episode: when the wind blew Benny's wanted poster into his face, when Todd had to relieve himself; when Benny jumped off the wagon to make it to the trees, and when Ezekiel lost it and started ranting at God. Besides that, this episode was alright.

I do think this season has potential, perhaps more potential than the previous two seasons, to be better than the previous two seasons. The first season was alright; a good introduction to the show, I guess. The second season was an improvement as far as the premise, setting and characters go. This season so far, and based on this first episode, seems like it'll be better, but you never know.

Oh, and did anyone notice that a mannequin was being dragged by the horse, instead of a stunt-double, for Steve Buscemi? It makes perfect sense. Being dragged by a horse is probably at the top of the list of stunts that nobody will ever do, but it was easy to miss. You can notice it in the split-second scene where Benny was being dragged right before it cut to him sitting up.

Warning: Spoilers
Certainly not horrible, but not liking the start of the season. The concept is weak and the jokes aren't landing. Can they just move on from Jon Bass and Karan Soni too? They are awful.

Must be Covid

Yikes... so much of this is shot on green screen. It has to be because of Covid and the actors and producers were concerned. The story and characters are getting one dimensional from season to season. Our heroine, in the first half of the episode liked like a huge Ompa Lumpa. IDK, the show is somewhat good clean fun, but I prob won't bother watching anymore.
