Creepy and Veeeery Interesting
bella-enfield21 January 2022
This episode is as visually stunning as the last. The pops of color here and there for... certain things really draw your attention to them and what they could possibly mean in the long run. This episode definitely had my head spinning a little as there was so much new information to take in, but it's still got that creepy, watch and find out vibe that so few things in the horror/thriller have these days.

Definitely an exposition-heavy episode, but I love the way our two main characters interact and their support systems.

Melody Pendras
AvionPrince1620 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Melody Pendras and the investigations that she do is pretty interesting and have some mysteries arround the people living her. Dan found some secret pieces in the building who he is working. And we still wondering about Dan's dad and his role in this. But we find that Melody Pendras was a customer of his Dad. An interesting episode with some nice mysteries and revelation. Need to see more.

[6.7] Drought and wetness
cjonesas20 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 2: A big drop in quality and realism. Quality it has relational to some crazy suspense, quality it lacks relational to the realism brought up by the previous episode, the pilot.

What is happening is downright unrealistic and nearly impossible. Too many convenient situations, presence of people and too dumb of decisions.

That is unless you seek doom and want to be screwed. Do you?!

Creepy is getting creepier
MegaMaexn21 January 2022
Yes, it's in the vein of repetitive 'found footage' movies, but this is highly intelligent and way above average - Another notch up on the creepiness scale, gentle storytelling and solid character building. A WTF moment about 'knocking on the door' and an unexpected (but very welcome and promising) twist at the end. This is a really good mystery that is reluctant to be unravelled... Absolutely love it so far!

A strong second episode.
Sleepin_Dragon23 January 2022
We learn a little more about Dan's involvement in matters, and he learns several secrets that have been hidden away.

It's definitely built on the first episode, this continued to set the scene, develop the characters, and explain why some events are happening.

This had a bit more of the chiller element than the first part, and one scene in particular was very freaky, it left you wondering what on Earth was going on.

I wish I knew what was going on with those adverts, I thought at one point that Netflix was giving up Brits US medicine adverts, I'm bemused, but interested.

Samuel, I was expecting them to introduce some sort of handsome villain, and here he is, I'm keen to learn what part be has to play.

I thought this was a very solid second episode, it's hugely atmospheric, it's creepy, and they definitely upped the horror element.

Very good, 8/10.

S1.E2 - Better than the First Episode [9/10]
panagiotis199329 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
(S1. E2) My Live Reaction / Review for Archive 81 Season 1 Episode 2 ''Wellspring''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 7/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Dan's father knew Melody? Things just got more complicated. Someone other than Dan is there at the compound? Who could this be? Is the compound haunted? Dan keeps seeing people. Oh, it was all a dream? Never mind. Melody kissed that dude but there is something off about him but I could be wrong. Dan found a secret door inside the building, this place has many secrets it seems. It seems like Melody found some kind of cult? So Melody is searching for her real mother in this building? Interesting. This episode was better than the first one. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

Sometimes Its Not Worth The Bag!
gbarrett-399414 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Would anyone, especially a black person, go to an isolated house/facility in the woods with no cell service or internet to work on a project alone. It's strange at best, but unrealistic on its face value. Also, what type of friend do you have that would tell you to stay at a creepy place for a payday. Dumb advice. Not scary at all unless you have a low tolerance for horror.
