The video was filmed in one long 21 hr work day at the Swift Mansion and The Congress Theater in Chicago. Many of the cast and crew had flown in from Los Angeles the day before the shoot with director J.P. Riley (where he was filming his directorial debut feature film, Act Naturally. Later that summer Company of Thieves contributed a cover of title track, Act Naturally to the film's soundtrack.
Pressure was the 2nd Music Video collaboration between the band and filmmakers. They had shot a music video for the album's first single, Oscar Wilde between Christmas and New Years a few months earlier. The day before principal photography began on Pressure, first music video, Oscar Wilde went to #1 on iTunes Top Music Video Chart, and was MTV's Buzzworthy Obsession of the Week. The filmmakers had no idea as they were traveling from a film set in a remote location in the high desert of California to Chicago. They had no idea the first video was a hit until they arrived at the airport in Chicago and happened to see a story about the video on the NBC Chicago News on a TV while waiting for their luggage and motion picture camera equipment cases in the terminal at Chicago's Midway Airport.
Pressure was the director's 100th major label music video. Shot ten years to the day after his first short student film had it's world premier at SXSW film festival.
