I truly believe Gata and Burd are going to be nominated for Emmys for this episode. This episode made me laugh, cry, and just flat out had me out of my seat with amazement and excitement. Thank you Dave. This was one of my favorite 30 minutes of TV ever!!

This episode did really reach where it set itself up for the whole season. Through each episode this season, you began to see Dave's selfish nature come out to those closest to him. He lost each supporting friend as each episode dedicated to those and you could feel the one closest to him, Gata, was long overdue. When Dave ultimately realize his own selfish nature, he turns everything around to salvage the relationships to those important to him. You gotta respect the smallest details Burd includes in each episode, showcasing his creative demeanor.

Last 3 minutes are so good that I'm rewinding it over and over again. Just for that moment everyone should watch Dave. What a beautiful moment.

WOW! That ending was iconic. I love this show for its funny, absurd, and heartwarming scenes. That ending was definitely a great way to end S2.

Parts of this season had me wonder where it was going got very dark at times but this episode was the best of all. The ending surprised me and left me feeling warm.

Not just the series, I mean seriously all time. It's hard really describe without ruining it but everything works perfectly. There's nothing to change about the episode. This show and especially this episodes gives me hope for the future. Just watch it and thank me later.

Absolute masterpiece of an episode. The frustration, laughs, (near) tears, and excitement that this finale brings out of you is second-to-none. A true and perfect climax to a two season-long buildup. 10/10 without question.

The whole show was never just about Dave (lil dicky), it was also about Dave (Gata) and both of their different paths to success. The whole season was about how selfish lil dicky was, to the point where I was even getting annoyed with him. It was great to see him finally give some generosity to his close friends at the end. Next season (if they have one since they can easily just end it there) will be way more enjoyable and exciting to watch. 10/10 ep.

You know they media that you consume that makes you say, "wow. I needed that." It's the type of media that for the most part takes you by surprise. Dave did this for me. The ego trip episode before this episode was awesome, so I was expecting something solid. The twist (not saying that in an "omg it is soooo genius ur fav media can't compare to Dave's genius ways" way) was very wholesome. I was crying. I'm glad that I wasn't watching it with my friend because of the humiliation knowing I would have cried. But I also think it could have been a beautiful moment to tear up with a homie or two to this episode. Thank you for creating greatness to everyone involved in making Dave. And LD, when tf are you going to drop an album for real?

This finale sums up the show perfectly. It has balanced comedy and drama fairly well throughout the two seasons. It can be hilarious in one scene and touching the next. This finale was the perfect mix of anxiety inducing drama and absurd humor.

It was the tale of 2 half's. After a rocky start to the second season, it just kept getting better which led to a memorable finale that let everyone know that Dave isn't just another comedy. What a banger!

I mean, come on! If you're not in love with this show by now then I don't know what to tell you. This episode is looking to be the highest rated episode on IMDB yet! DAVE hit the high-note as a finale worthy of the Journey that we, the audience, and the characters, deserved. The journey was a series of growing pains where everyone struggled, failed, tried, grew, got rejected, fell back, failed again, struggled some more, then slowly became more self aware, more motivated, more self-assured, ultimately seeking Enlightenment, and therefore becoming reborn as Artist and finally succeeding and making their dreams come true. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Now to mentally prepare for the Oh-so dreaded year-long-wait for what no doubt will be a green light for season 3 of DAVE. The VMA performance really solidified Dave as a legitimate Musical talent & performer. I'm so impressed with everyone's performance on this show, and I continue to be completely taken by Dave & Gat's outstanding performances. The entire cast is so talented. It's rare to get to see them shine as bright as they do here. This episode did well to highlight not only their musical genius but their range as actors as well. I will no doubt be staying tuned for season 3. Thank you for this show.

I can't believe how proud and happy I am for a fictional character lol. Gata is an amazing character and great actor. He is so real, in fact they all are, it's like watching a documentary. I truly believe in the main characters. I rewatched that last scene so many times, like I did with the first finale, truly incredible. They really know what they're doing, I can't wait til the next season!

I hope no one reads any of these reviews until after watching this episode. Bcus by saying this, it does give into the fact that we know it is the most satisfying ending to a tv episode ever. Ive watched this episode 5 times now, and the last few minutes numerous times. Whenever i feel like a feel good cry, i crank this part up to full blast and just let my emotions take over. I loved the acting, the writing, the music, the editing the direction of course. Thank you for making this episode, to everyone who was involved. I cannot wait for season 3. Really didnt think season 1 finale could be topped and here we are. Let's go!!!!!!

Similar to a few others, I made this account to write this review. This might be the best finale of a buildup season that I've ever seen.

I pretty much understand everything that happened this season now, I was a bit worried that S2 couldn't hold a candle to the first but the finale proved me wrong. Dave knows which buttons to press and when, fantastic television.

I was already tearing up seeing GaTa looking at the stage tearing up himself...then the song starts with the unexpected and i broke down with tears of joy...they pack so much emotion into the show in general, but they supercharged the heart in the last few minutes, the change in the tune thankfully helped me dry up. I've watched the entire series 3 times since this episode ended and it's just brilliant. I've never seen a comedy with this much emotion that just nails it flawlessly.

I can't wait for season 3...it will likely be a little longer since LD is working on an album first...but I'm sure they'll pick this up for more and I am excited to see the next phase of the story. Got a real gem here with the perfect cast.

The final 2 episodes showed that Dave and GaTa are not only rappers but actors. Amazing way to end the season. I hope to see more, this show always leaves you wanting more. I would also be satisfied if we didn't, get more. A true finale.
