Bush have announced a career-spanning greatest hits compilation, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023, out November 10th via Round Hill Records.
The UK alt-rockers shared the news alongside a new song that’s included on the comp entitled “Nowhere to Go But Everywhere” — the namesake of the group’s North American tour this fall. The track is a heavy grunger with surging power chords and a standout vocal performance from frontman Gavin Rossdale.
The rest of the collection will cull from Bush’s extensive back catalog, with the tracklist flowing chronologically from the band’s ’90s glory days up through its prolific post-2010 output following the 2011 comeback effort, The Sea of Memories.
“I’m really grateful that I get the chance to make music after all of this time,” Gavin Rossdale commented in a press release. “The privilege is not lost on me. I’m still in the octagon, and I...

New music is on the way for Sel!
Selena Gomez confirmed she’s back in the studio in her latest Instagram post, sharing photos from what appears to be a recording session.
In the photo slideshow, the “Come Down” singer showed off a series of “random” photos taken everywhere from the makeup chair, to dining out, getting dolled up and what fans have been waiting for — a shot from inside the studio.
The studio session saw the 31-year-old singer posing with members of her team and her pup, Winnie, who Gomez held onto in the group photo.
Recording equipment and speakers can be seen in the background, as the “Only Murders in the Building” actress dressed casually for the occasion.
“Randemz,” she captioned the post, which was shared to her feed Saturday.
Fans took to the comments to speculate on when new music will arrive from Gomez, with one writing,...

Turns out that Lorde isn’t the only talented singer/songwriter in her family.
The “Solar Power” singer’s younger sister, Indy Yelich, is demonstrating that with a sneak peek at her very first single, “Threads”.
Yelich recently launched an Instagram account, and her sole post to date is a video in which she accompanies herself on piano while performing the song.

“Love you the same but I’m afraid that you’ll let me / Rip out the threads we wove together, and it scares me,” Yelich sings, displaying a powerful voice that’s not too different from that of her sister.
TMZ has obtained what appears to be the single version, in which the same song features Edm-style beats.
As for when we can expect the single, Yelich teases only “soon” in her post.

“When will you know if the song’s been sung?” Gavin Rossdale sings obliviously on The Kingdom’s “Quicksand.” It’s a question he apparently didn’t take too seriously when writing that tune or the other 11 modern warhorses on the long-running band’s eighth album, which trudge through the same monochromatic grunge he first peddled a quarter of a century ago.
As with the Bush of yore, Rossdale’s pained, scruffy vocals remain the focus throughout the record but too often it’s sound and fury amounting to nothing.

Stuck in a high-rise flat, six friends are hunted by a shadowy figure in Comedown. The performances and isolated location hold it strong, though, as characters begin to meet their grisly exit and the “monster” takes a prominent role, the cliché setups and forced twists render Comedown a bit of a letdown.
Lloyd (Jacob Anderson) has been in jail for the past three months. He is released and aims to change his gritty, crime ridden London lifestyle in order to take care of his pregnant girlfriend Jemma (Sophie Stuckey). Lloyd’s old crew, lead by the bullying Jason (Adam Deacon), forces him into participation for a job and wild night out in an abandoned multi-level apartment. Once the crew becomes situated in their old stomping grounds, drugs are distributed by Jason to the crew and an unwilling Lloyd. Quickly things turn bloody as a stalking figure begins to hunt everyone in the crew.

Out today on VOD is Comedown, one of the films that falls under the distribution partnership between The Orchard and ShockTillYouDrop.com. I liked this one. It had some good twists and reminded me of some '80s slasher fare. We have one more clip to share with you. You can watch it below and, because, it's part of a playlist, you can watch three more clips in case you missed them.
Directed by Menhaj Huda (Kidulthood), the film finds Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones) playing one of six friends – all of whom have known each other from childhood.

It’s already difficult to survive a psychopath hellbent on killing you and your best friends, but to take on such a ferocious threat while high on drugs? This is the sinister scenario that Lloyd must survive in the UK thriller Comedown, coming soon to VOD in the Us from The Orchard and Shock Till You Drop.

★★☆☆☆ Comedown (2012), the new British indie horror from Kidulthood director Menhaj Huda, starring Jacob Anderson, Sophie Stuckey and Adam Deacon, is reminiscent (one imagines) of a bad trip - minus any of the accompanying highs. A group of teenagers including Lloyd (Anderson) and his pregnant girlfriend Jemma (Stuckey) decide to break into the block of flats in which they used to live but that now lie derelict, in order to help set up a pirate radio station and have a little 'fun' in the process. However, there is someone else prowling the neon lit corridors of the tower block - someone intent on cutting the kid's party dead, permanently.

There seem to have been a lot of movies featuring tower blocks in the last year or two. Attack the Block, The Raid, Dredd all spring to mind and there’s even a movie called Tower Block coming out later this year. StudioCanal obviously thought there was room for another one and have released the trailer for Come Down which is out on DVD and Blu-ray 28th January.
The movie stars Adam Deacon (Adulthood), Geoff Bell (War Horse), Jacob Anderson (4.3.2.1), Calum McNab (Outside Bet), Duane Henry (The Dark Knight Rises), Sophie Stuckey (The Woman in Black) and Jessica Barden (Tamara Drewe). Comedown is directed by the man who brought us Kidulthood Menhaj Huda and is written by Steven Kendall.

Note to self: Never break into abandoned buildings in large metropolitan areas. Although the idea of urban exploration excites me in ways I’m uncomfortable describing on this website, the possibility of being eviscerated by a deranged psychopath is enough to keep me from pursuing my unusual dreams. Such is life, I suppose. Enter director Menhaj Huda’s 2012 slasher “Comedown.” The film takes a handful of street thugs, a topic explored in the director’s previously film “Kidulthood,” and tosses them inside a dark and spooky building equipped with a blood-thirsty psychopath. I’m sure you can guess where things are headed. The trailer looks pretty straightforward. For those who need their hand held, here’s the synopsis: Six tearaway teenagers break into an abandoned, condemned tower block to make mischief and party. When one of the group is snatched from the roof her friends begin to search the dark,...

Well the question as to when Menhaj Huda’s (director of the acclaimed British street gang thriller ‘Kidulthood’) Brit slash horror Comedown is to see the light of day has finally been answered, with news it is to bump along the runway and quietly come to a stop....straight onto DVD only. An odd decision considering it garnered some fairly reasonable reviews on its tour around the festival circuit? Still, for those that like their indie horror Urban, Comedown might well be your first purchase in 2013? Comedown hits the streets Jan 28. Synopsis: Six tearaway teenagers break into an abandoned, condemned tower block to make mischief and party. Menhaj Huda's Comedown isn't so much the morning after the night before as the moment that night when you realise the booze has run out, the pills are all gone and you're desperately trying to eke out the last of your buzz to stave off the realisation you're going to pay for it a lot sooner than you thought. This gritty little UK slasher flick is relatively predictable, with some frustratingly transparent twists and an ending that's obviously rushed, but it's a lot more than watching stupid people die. Huda's direction, a simple yet effective script and some strong performances from the young cast turn what could have been a tired parade of torture porn and music video showboating into something surprisingly memorable. The...

Menhaj Huda ("Kidulthood," "Comedown") is set to direct the indie thriller "Soul Survivor" for Red Shogun Pictures says Variety.
Mark Sonoda penned the script which centers on the police investigation into a lone survivor of a mass murder.
A possibility soon emerges that the victims might be linked to the suspicious suicide of a New York socialite seven years earlier.

Imagine being the soul survivor of a truly horrid massacre. It has to have some kind of effect on the way the rest of your life plays out, and hopefully in this just announced indie flick that effect will be of the ultra-spooky variety.

First look at Comedown, the new teen urban-horror feature from Kidulthood director Menhaj Huda.
The young cast includes Jessica Barden, Jacob Anderson, Sophie Stuckey, Duane Henry, Calum MacNab and Adam Deacon as six tearaway teenagers who break into an abandoned, condemned tower block to make mischief and party.
Mercy Point, a high-rise tower block conceived and built in the sixties, condemned in the nineties. Abandoned by all, it is now home to a brooding malevolence, and what resides within its empty floors is truly terrifying.
Lloyd (Jacob Anderson) a young man in his early 20′s, is facing the reality of fatherhood, determined to rise above the pervading knife culture and bleak environment he calls home. Kidulthood director Menhaj Huda had finally completed Comedown, a title we've been keeping our eye on for quite some time.
Geoff Bell, Jacob Anderson, Jessica Barden, Sophie Stuckey, Duane Henry, Adam Deacon and Calum NacNab play six tearaway teenagers who break into an abandoned, condemned tower block to make mischief and party.
When one of the group is snatched from the roof her friends begin to search the dark, eerily hollow interior of the tower and soon realize that they are not alone in the building. A resident psychopath lurks within the floors and is determined to track down and kill them one-by-one, ensuring they never leave his building alive.
Shock has received a still from the flick, head inside for a look!

The pic, which takes place in a condemned tower block, was penned by Steven Kendall and will be helmed by Menhaj Huda, whose first feature "Kidulthood" won him recognition. It's about six youths who are targeted by a psychopath when trying to set up a relay aerial for a local pirate radio station. Cast includes Geoff Bell from Guy Ritchie's "RocknRolla" and Martin Compston ("Red Road"). I guess I go against the grain when I say that I prefer to like most of the characters in a slasher flick. I’ve never been of the mind that you should root for the killer (the kills can still be fun/surprising without watching a collection of degenerates), and I’ll be curious to see how the recently announced Comedown goes about itself. After all, a story about a psychopath targeting trespassers could certainly go either way...
Menhaj Huda directs the film, centering around a group of six teenagers who sneak into a decayed tower block with the intent of setting up a radio signal for a pirate radio station. Soon they’re stalked and killed by a disgruntled resident who doesn’t take too kindly to unwelcome visitors.
