Ok can the writers stop making this show for 7 year old, people wonder why shows like The Punisher and Daredevil are so highly praised and that's because they are dark and not a soap opera. The writers and the CW are ruining this show.

This started OK... it was nice seeing Wells again, but... Iris is growing infuriating and what is SO ANNOYING is the constant references to 'Barry and Iris being connected to the forces' and them being their parents, and "let them develop." This is a superhero action show- not a cheesy family sitcom!

I believe that I have lost the thread. Which Wells was that, why could he travel through time and how could he know them in the year 2000? Didn't all the Wellses sort of died/disappeared? Since the last two seasons I feel more and more distant and disappointed and I want this series to stop, to find an end. But it's going on and on and getting more confusing. I believe I should stop watching DC things. Ever since Arrow died the franchise has been gone down slowly. Plus DC isn't doing the equivalent to the MCU, so there are different actors and actresses in the movies. For me, the DC universe, especially the Arrowverse, is dying a slow death. It's the writing. It's way too constructed, too narrow told. There is no fantasy left, less thrill and even less fun, and it's especially hard to watch whiny faces with mimimi comments. I think I'll at least finish the season. If it doesn't stop hurting my brain, I will stop watching DC at all. It's simply too dark and unfunny...

The Flash has definitely derailed in the last 2 years. I really hope it wraps it up with Season 8. Team Flash is not interesting anymore. How many times does Harrison Wells have to leave and Cisco get all emotional about it...again? How many times is Barry going to be betrayed by those he trusted? How many times are Barry and Iris going to have a falling out only to realize LOVE is the answer by the end and everything will be okay? Feels like the writers behind the Arrowverse shows have all given up and are phoning it now. I fear for Stargirl.

Story is decent but what I liked about it was West's speech. It was touching and motivational. Quite unexpected twist where Psych returns, I knew he would return. Again, he is so intellectual. He acknowledges Nora and the Speed Force. Not gonna lie though, I like this Wells than the previous Wells we had this season. It was sad to see him go. At the ending, Nora was damn terrifying. Good performance right there.

At this point it's all getting a little too supernatural. Giving birth to new forces, calling them their kids, Raising the dead to life. I mean why call it a superhero show if you wanna base things on love? Y'all wanna turn it into a family drama? Why is Iris at the centre of all this mann??? Why is it being a family thing? Why let Iris influence every decision that Barry takes? This is getting too outa hand. For all I know this show may become close to unwatchable.

This episode showed Barry being smart and coming up with plans and ideas. Even though, he ended up not going through with them, I'm glad we're seeing him start to come up with stuff again instead of asking people on what to do.
Barry and Iris being "parents" to the forces feels weird, but it lowkey makes sense since they are the ones who created it.
Someone is already complaining about Iris, when in reality she still got less screentime than Barry. No matter what she's going to be on the show and get a good amount of screentime because she's the female lead. They don't pay Candice to sit in the background and look pretty. Iris going out with team citizen was good because she's at her best when she's a reporter and uses those skills to investigate or find out the truth instead of being in STAR labs where she's not always needed
Absolutely loved the encounter with Deon in this episode, but that's because he's my favorite force outside the speedforce, so I'm biased in that.
The synopsis said that Cisco would reveal his greatest fear to Kamilla, but that never happened. All we know is that they're both leaving. He saw something in those visions that Psych gave him, but he isn't saying anything. I'm intrigued to find out what it is though.

First of all Barry is both a horrible person and even more worse as a hero. He's an embarrassment. And, this ep highlighted it perfectly. And what the? Was that clownery with Barry/Iris and Alexa at the end? I think it's time for this show to end, it's seriously over staying its welcome. The only good thing was Wells and Cisco: love their relationship. That's the only reason I gave this ep a 2 or it would have been a 0 XD.

The cinematography was great, as were VFX in the Forces' birth scene. That one moment from 7x03 was explained with Wells looking somewhere which looked like bad directing at the moment (considering how atrocius that episode was). Barry, Iris (in the nightmare scene), Deon and Psych were pretty good too. The things that bother me are
1) that Iris is responsible for recreating the Speed Force. Maybe, if it was explained and executed better, I would even like it. It still bothers me from 7x03 to this day how rushed the moment with Iris was. Honestly, I don't know what can be done for me to like anything connected to Iris after her past quotes and actions (We are the Flash, all the "cool mom stuff" from S5, the "Speed force is human UWU", all the surveillance and science stuff when she's not a computer guru nor a scientist) Just look at Lois Lane from S&L who does her JOB AS A JOURNALIST WHO TRIES TO HELP PEOPLE AND ACCEPTS HER FLAWS. And not acts like a superhero when she's really not.
2) the idea of destroying the Forces was good, though it would feel cheap for Team Flash to solve the problem like this. Now, it seems like Barry will fight the "forces of nature" with love or whatever. Can't wait for Psych and Nora to be beaten with the ol' classic "being bad is bad" which goes back to when dinosaurs walked the Earth.

It's hard to put my thoughts on this episode into words honestly. I thought the stuff psych and deon was really good, but at the same time the whole "parent" thing threw me off. I mean I guess it's right but it's still super weird and I think it could've been handled WAYYYY better. The flashback stuff though was pretty good and the birth of the forces was honestly really beautiful, VFX guys did a great job with that. Honestly this episode messed with my head and I can't get my thoughts straight with it. This is definitely a 6-7/10, there have been much better episodes this season (last ep was fantastic) and I've mostly enjoyed the force storyline but this one really dropped the ball imo. Here's to hoping the two-parter can bring this all together in a satisfying way.

The bias is clear, would be a waste of breath to explain. The difference is Iris is the leading lady and Candice can carry a storyline with her acting. This show is best when it focuses on the Flash Family, which is exactly what this episode did. More of that please!

This episode had so much unnecessary drama, and it felt like it accomplished nothing. This episode was way too predictable. I wish we could go back to seasons like 1 and 2, the recent seasons do not feel like the flash at all.

Does the actress who plays Iris have something on the writers? This show has now got as bad as batwoman and supergirl. It's like a soap opera aimed at 13 year old girls. If it carries on like this then next season will be its last. Since arrow finished the Arrowverse has gone downhill fast.

This was a great episode Barry had good intentions but his approach was wrong he wanted to change the outcomes for the forces without considering their feelings on it or their consent which is exactly what Nora wanted to do in the previous which he was against so I'm glad he was able to see Iris' point and that there is a solution to appealing to these forces but they need to work together to figure it because the forces are an extension of them and the connection to the speedforce...was great to see the scenes with team citizen as well it's just a bummer it seems kamila will be leaving with Cisco I wonder how that will change things..I don't know how they get to through to the speed force but I hope they can before it can do something to the still force.

This show has always skirted a dangerous line with the romance between two people who call the same person dad but it took am even sharper turn this episode into something really creepy... the forces possessing various adult characters and then forcing the metaphor they're the main couple's quasi "kids" now. It's really disturbing and freaky how they're trying to be parents to adults they don't even know... and more so, it and their solution to the problem doesn't make any sense and supposedly they can raise the dead? This show has gone off the deep end from sci fi directly into fantasy (which fantasy is fine on its own, just not the kind of show I signed up for)

Barry and Iris centered episodes always work the best because the leads are actually allowed to be leads. Need to keep cutting down on Team Flash so Barry can actually be an independent hero after 7 years. Reporter Iris team ups are always a delight. More of this!

The plot is repetitive, all talks about righteousness and annoying Iris as ever. Worst than soap drama and it's time for this show to end.
