He claims that Iris is at work, and Cecile says that Barry feels nervous, ecstatic, and excited. Barry tries to conceal his emotions and excuse himself, and Cecile reminds him that they were having lunch together. He closes the door in her face and smiles.
Later at STAR Labs, Frost is in the lounge "painting" by throwing paint balls at a canvas. Chester comes in and tells her that Mark is out and bout. Frost figures that Caitlin told Chester everything, and he shows her an article about how Mark turned state's evidence and might be turning over a new leaf. She doesn't buy it, and promises to kick his butt once Mark shows his true colors. Chester jokingly points out that it sounds like Frost is going to stalk Mark, and Frost thanks him for the great idea.
Joe meets with Kristen, who is impressed on how much he's dug up on Operation Griffin. Joe points out that Creyke was caught on a surveillance camera of a military armory stealing the weapons he used to wipe out Kristen's unit. When Joe wonders how Kristen survived, she admits that she doesn't know. Kristen tells Joe that she only has fragmented memories of the attack, and Creyke acting like he would knew he would survive because of his meta ability.
Kristen talks about how Creyke liked to sail and Joe confirms that he had a call sign of "Rasputin". A schooner named Rasputin is registered in Midway City, six weeks after Operation Griffin. Kristen vows now to let Creyke get away again, and starts to leave, and Joe tells her it has to be about justice, not vengeance. After a moment, Kristen tells Joe to lead the way.
In the streets, two Godspeeds meet, talk in their modem-speak, and look around.
At STAR Labs, Barry comes in with his car keys and is surprised to see Chester. Chester wonders why Barry is driving a car, and Barry claims that he's bringing blood and urine samples to Caitlin, who is his COP. Chester tells him that Caitlin is in the medlab with Ultraviolet and leaves. Barry calls Iris and says that Caitlin isn't alone, and she comes up with an idea for Barry to do the pregnancy test in his lab.
In the medlab, Caitlin looks at the scans of Ultraviolet, and tells her that the mask Ultraviolet is wearing hides the damage Black Hole did to her. Allegra wonders how Caitlin can fix it, and Caitlin explains that the mask will need regular updates, and without them will shut down. She says that she has a way to fix the damage, but Ultraviolet says that she won't do it.
Allegra intervenes, and Caitlin leaves so the cousins can have their privacy. Allegra tells Ultraviolet that she trusts the team and they're good people, and Ultraviolet should let Caitlin fix her. Ultraviolet figures that Allegra fears death, and Allegra says that Caitlin isn't Black Hole. When Ultraviolet still balks, Allegra tells her that it's about saving her family.
Three thugs attack Mark at the bar. Frost comes in and tells the thugs to leave, and they finally do so. Mark explains that the thugs didn't appreciate him being a snitch, and he staggers from the cut the thugs inflicted on him. He's antagonized all the doctors in town, and Frost finally agrees to take him to STAR Labs and let Caitlin fix him.
At his lab, Barry is running the pregnancy tests wen Cecile comes in for lunch. She picks up with her empathy that Barry and Iris are trying to get pregnant, just as the window scatters. Barry gets Cecile to cover with his superspeed,
Everyone meets at STAR Labs, and they confirm that Godspeed was responsible for the attacks. Chester picks up reports of two Godspeeds, and Barry and Flash split up to go their location. The Godspeeds disappear from the satellite monitors, and when Frost wants to bring in Iris, Barry says she's won't be any help against speedsters. Chester offers to come up with an algorithm to decode the modem-speak, while Barry goes out to search the city for the Godspeeds.
Mark asks Caitlin what Frost is into, and Caitlin tells Mark that he can't handle Frost. Frost comes in, and Mark figures that Godspeed is involved. Frost says that there's two of them, and tells Caitlin to focus on helping Ultraviolet. Mark wants to go with Frost to fight Godspeed. She refuses, and Mark says that she can't decide who someone is going to be based on who they are. Mark reminds Frost that she used to be Killer Frost and asks to help. After a moment, Frost says no and seals Mark in.
That night, Caitlin operates on Ultraviolet as Cecile and Allegra look on. An alarm goes off, and Flash arrives and Chester tells him that one of the Godspeeds is attacking the city's power plant and the blast radius will be 40 square miles.
Flash insists on going by himself, with Frost as the last line of defense. The speedster arrives at the power plant, and speaks in modem-speak. Chester hears it over the comms, and confirms that it's a trap. More Godspeeds arrive, and Flash runs out and tells Chester to activate the force field. Barry gets inside just in time, and the Godspeeds talk among themselves.
Barry, Chester, and Frost get together while the Godspeeds try to beat through the force field and slowly weaken it. Chester warns that the force field will hold maybe an hour, and Frost goes to get Mark. Barry is glad that Iris is home and safe, but worried that he put the rest of the team in danger. Chester says that the team can handle it, and warns that they can't evacuate while Caitlin is operating on Ultraviolet.
Barry goes out in the hallway and calls Iris, and tells her not worry and whatever happens, Barry is going to do whatever he can to keep Iris and the baby safe. Chester sneaks up on Barry from behind, overhears him, and congratulates him on the baby. Barry hangs up and asks Chester to keep the news and Chester agrees. Chester is surprised when Barry says that he knows he's going to have a daughter, and Chester warns that Barry knowing the future could change it. As the power flickers, Chester says that the Godspeeds' weakness is something unpredictable.
Caitlin continues operating on Ultraviolet, and tells Allegra that she can do the surgery and keep Ultraviolet alive because she doesn't have a choice.
Frost opens the door and finds Mark trying to bypass the locking mechanism. She tells Mark that there are six Godspeeds now, and tells him to promise that he won't stab her in the back if she gives him his power bracelets. Mark says that he's not a hero and Frost has to accept that, and she does and tells Mark that if the Godspeeds get in, he'll die with the rest of them. After Mark agrees, Frost gives him bracelet and tells him that if he breaks her trust, he won't get it back.
In the main room, Chester says that he can transmit the modem-speak through CCPD's emergency alert system. The Godspeeds won't be able to communicate together, and Flash, Frost, and Chillblaine can pick them off one at a time. Chester warns that he'll need five minutes to put together the scrambling system.
In the medlab, the unconscious Ultraviolet's hand starts shaking. Caitlin says that Black Hole set it up so removing the chip causes neural trauma. Allegra tells Caitlin to do something, and Caitlin says that she has to keep working and remove the chip. Cecile uses her empath powers to stabilize Ultraviolet, and explains that she can share her feelings now as well, and she gave Ultraviolet the same sense of security she feels knowing Team Flash is out there saving the world.
The Godspeeds work out a way to drain energy from the force field using their speed. They bring it down and speed in, and one of them appears in the main room, finds Flash, and calls the others. Chester run to the Time Vault that Cisco has prepared as a panic room, and he has Gideon secure the room.
Frost, Chillblaine, and the other five Godspeeds arrive and fight.
Gideon suggests that she pump the modem-speak over the intercoms, and Chester agrees. He has the AI pump the sound out, and the Godspeeds are staggered. Flash takes out one Godspeed and fights another. Frost takes out another one, while Chillblaine beats another one unconscious. Frost teams up against Chillblaine's opponent, and smiles in thanks.
One Godspeed gets to the Time Vault and blasts his way in. The Godspeed stops the modem-speak, and in the main room the Godspeeds rally and unleash lightning bolts to take down Frost and Chillblaine. Flash faces off against the Godspeeds, then takes them all on at once. He runs out and they speed after him, and the one in the time Vault joins the other clones.
Flash runs through the city with the Godspeeds following him. They then get ahead of him and unleash lightning to bring Flash down. They surround Flash and concentrate their energy on him, and six more Godspeeds arrive and attack the first six. All of the Godspeeds fight, the new ones against the old, and the seemingly all destroy themselves when they strike each other.
Back at STAR Labs, Caitlin reports that Ultraviolet is recovering. Allegra thanks Caitlin and Cecile for their help, and Chester wonders why the Godspeeds fought each other. Barry figures that the new six were trying to kill the first ones. Caitlin and Barry figure they're facing a civil war of Godspeeds.
In the lounge, Mark pours drinks for himself and Frost. He asks if she's going to let him stay the night, and Frost says that she isn't kicking him out. Mark talks about the chemistry they gave, and says that he was okay with nearly dying because Frost was with him. Frost asks Mark what he's thinking about now, and he says her. They start to kiss, but the drink that Mark made explodes on the counter. Frost goes over and discovers that Mark planted the charge, and when she turns she discovers that Mark has slipped away.
At his lab, Barry runs the test while Cecile looks on. He tells her that he hopes their child has Iris' heart and fearlessness, and Cecile assures Barry that she will. The test turns out negative, and Barry wonders what his dream meant. Cecile says that things will work out just like the Dream-Nora said, and Barry wonders what the future is for Iris and him.
Joe and Kristen watch the schooner in Midway City, but there's no sign of Creyke. Kristen figures that Creyke will be there eventually, and explains that when they joined the service, she went into Intelligence and Creyke went into Special Forces. She's worried that whatever broke Creyke might break her as well. Kristen wonders what could change Creyke enough that he would try to kill her.
Someone fires a missile into the car from behind. Kristen spots it, and tells Joe to get out of the car just before it explodes.
