Amazing episode

This one remindes me of seasons 1-3 when the storylines where so good.

Tracy was amazing.

Too much focus on Upton

This season has more than one episode with a focus on Upton. Her acting is not bad, but her character is so MEH, and this episode with a Meh character is terribly predictable. I think the writers got lazy with this episode.

Upton is annoying alright

I know there are some people who worship her but she's self righteous to the bone.. when Jay was the one getting emotional about the case, she was second guessing him all the time, judging him and up there on her high moral ground. But now when it's a case that hits close to home, she goes way beyong what Jay has ever gone.. she manipultes the little girl to point a suspect out of a six pack of photos.. she questions Hank.. should I go on?

I guess when you're a woman, you can do whatever you want. I know Voight has been getting soft due to the writers being afraid of portraying police brutality but Voight would've been way less tolerant had it been one of the guys second guessing him and getting all emotional... but anyway, it was worth the watch and Jay is such a nice guy.. he didn't get whiny and took it like a man and at the end things got better, I guess. The relationship can flourish. We'll have to wait and see.

In a cast of exceptional actors, I think she may well be the best of the lot. Honestly, this girl was sensational through the whole episode. Might actually watch it again. 40 minutes of really great tv.

From Hailey to Upstead to Tracy....Phenomenal

What. An. Episode. There is no doubt in my mind that Chicago PD has one of the most talented casts in TV. Wolf Entertainment struck GOLD with them. From start to finish, this episode was brilliantly written and wonderfully performed. Finally getting insight on Hailey's backstory, developments in Upstead's relationship, AND Burgess and Upton scenes (which I hope they continue to explore), it's everything I've ever wanted. One of my favorite episodes so far !!

Upton

I know many die hard fans hate her just for breathing, but honestly what a brilliant character she's become. The last few scenes of this episode were absolutely phenomenal. Kudos to the actress.

Terrible Episode

The script was obvious from beginning to end. It was obvious the girl next door knew more than she first said, the acting by "Hailey" was bad throughout, of course 3 steps into the grid search she's the one to find the opening. They never say why the dad was killed but not the daughter, there was no dirt only a little snow on the opening so why didn't he open it and leave? Why with the tunnels were they just at the bottom, why didn't he take his daughter and look for an opening. The whole episode except the original concept was just bad. Jay is with another crazy, he doesn't say anything when she tells the neighbor who to pick. Hailey and Kim are the weaker spots on this show. Sorry women's lib people, I'm female too, but they are. Hailey not as bad as Kim though and Tracy not as bad acting as Marina (she's terrible). One episode here, let's hope the writers get it right for her next time.
