Batman: The Brave and the Bold (TV Series)
The Color of Revenge! (2009)
Crawford Wilson: Robin
Quotes
-
Crazy Quilt : I will carve the cityscape into a masterpiece to rival of Mount Rushmore.
Robin : That's a pretty ambitious plan for a guy who can barely dress himself.
Batman : No taunting, Robin.
Crazy Quilt : Insolent whelp!
-
Crazy Quilt : You always wanted to escape the shadow of the bat, Robin. Here's your chance.
Robin : You're gonna wish you stayed in Arkham with your coloring book.
Crazy Quilt : I'm gonna weave you both into carpets and spend the rest of my life walking all over you.
-
Crazy Quilt : It seems I get the pleasure of destroying you twice in one day.
Robin : Fine. I'll sit for a portrait. But make sure you get my good side, okay?
-
Batman : You have no idea how deranged Quilt's become.
Robin : You always knew more than I did about criminals, right?
Batman : Look, I know you left Gotham so you could be your own man, but I'm only here to help. It'll be just like old times.
Robin : Fine. But just remember...
Batman : Follow my lead.
Robin : ...you're in my city now.
-
Robin : Once a Flying Grayson, always a Flying Grayson.
-
Robin : Walking out the door with a 2-ton safe? You're about as subtle as you are smart, Grundy.
-
Robin : Look, I can handle this alone. It's me he wants.
Batman : That's precisely why you won't handle it alone. Quilt is a madman and more dangerous than ever. But he still can't resist leaving clues to his crimes. Have there been any art thefts in Blüdhaven since he escaped?
Robin : Van Gogh's "Starry Night" was on loan to the county museum. It went missing yesterday. It must mean Quilt is heading to S.T.A.R. Labs.
Batman : I've got it. "Starry Night." It must mean Quilt is heading to S.T.A.R. Labs.
-
Batman : You have to get me out of here quickly, so listen carefully.
Robin : No, you listen. I've got some things I wanna get off my chest. First off, I'm not a child anymore. So I don't need you checking up on me and always looking over my shoulder. Sure, you taught me a lot when I was a kid. But I'm an adult now, and I've got my own city to look after. I don't need help. I don't chase henchmen. I don't get the costumes dry-cleaned. And I don't ride in sidecars. Admit it, Batman, I'm just as good as you.
[seeing he's free]
Robin : Huh?
Batman : Thanks for taking out the henchmen.
Robin : [bitter] Yeah. Apparently, that's my specialty.
-
Robin : [thinking] Quilt always leaves a clue. This time, he left one by accident. If I were going to turn Batman into a carpet, there's only one place to do it.
-
Crazy Quilt : Without sight, I'm forced to be a little more creative with my art.
Robin : Coward! Open the door and face me.
Crazy Quilt : [laughing] I wasn't up all night cutting out paper fish just to have a boxing match with you, boy. I have something much bigger in mind. In the meantime, my kaleidoscope will generate enough centripetal force to flatten you into two-dimensional masterpieces that will hang in my private collection.
-
Batman : It could be a trap. Stay behind me, Robin.
Robin : If you're worried about my well-being, maybe I'd be safer back in the cave, rotating the tires on the Batmobile. You know, like old times.
Batman : Speedy had to sharpen arrows. Aqualad had to scrape barnacles. Everyone earns their stripes.
-
Robin : Arts and crafts are over, Quilt.
Crazy Quilt : The Boy Blunder. Alas, I was hoping you would be flat enough to fold into a little paper hat by now. Instead, I'll make you the centerpiece of a much more ambitious installation.
-
Batman : Well done, old chum.
Robin : Thanks. I'm glad you finally have faith I can do things on my own.
Batman : I've always had faith in you, Robin. That's why I trusted you to work the streets of Blüdhaven solo.
Robin : Well, I learned from the best.
Batman : [a pager on his utility belt beeps] The commissioner just called. Killer Moth hijacked the Gotham Bank money train. If you're up for it.
Robin : [eagerly, then composing himself] Gosh, I'd...! I mean, sure, I'm up for it.
Batman : Then let's roll.
-
Robin : [thinking] Blüdhaven may look filthy, but at least I've cleaned the criminal scum off the streets. Even though some people thought I couldn't make it on my own.
[seeing a large blinking eye in the sky]
Robin : Strange. It looks like...
Batman : Morse code. It spells out an address on the corner of Haney and Aparo.
Robin : What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in a whale's belly with Aquaman or something?
Batman : Crazy Quilt escaped.
Robin : From Arkham, I know.
Batman : Good. Then you know it's you he's after.
Robin : Yeah. I've got it under control. See you at the next Bat-family reunion.
-
Robin : Red fish?
Batman : A red herring, to be precise, Robin.
Robin : That means he's just throwing us off the trail.
Batman : It means more than that. The famed painter Henri Matisse abandoned his brush in favor of paper cutouts for the same reason Quilt has. He's blind.
Crazy Quilt : Brilliant as always, Batman. Unlike Matisse, however, I was blinded by a prepubescent brat.
Robin : Quilt, you're a lousy artist and a lousier villain. If you've got the guts to show yourself, I'll gladly take you on alone.
Crazy Quilt : [a door opens nearby] Then come and get me, little birdie.
Batman : Wait, Robin, it's a trick!
Robin : I can handle whatever this Z-lister's got.
[dodging Quilt's henchmen, Robin leaps for Quilt, but ends up tackling a mannequin]
Batman : Warned you.
