Jeff has his day in court, whilst his father tries to find reasons as to why his son turned out the way he did.
Wow, this was yet another very powerful episode, it really does feel like the point in the series where we have reached the cold light of day. We get the collective impact of Dahmer's crimes, and it's not just directly on his victims, the effect spreads out much wider.
So much content, there is so much happening here, but it's all cohesive. Some powerful scenes inside that courtroom.
I know this is a dramatisation, and as I've found out from previous episodes, it may not always be totally accurate, I'm not sure if it's just the performance, but was Dahmer autistic?
Richard Jenkins gave a commanding performance as dad Lionel, he was so impressive here.
9/10.
