Fantastic episode adapting again to the current situation. Jam packed with relatable moments of insight, layers, depth. Unlike 99% of what we're fed through every other channel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt dares to go his own path and it was rewarding and challenging.
I loved the musician aspects of it, and I'm guessing there's a lot of personal insight in that aspect with JG-L's own music leanings, which just makes it feel even more real.
I loved how it touched on some raw issues and didn't solve them, didn't have an answer, didn't give a trite reply, just left it there for us to think on.
Apparently Apple have chosen not to renew this series which is very disappointing, but hopefully JG-L and team will find a way to continue on this path. It has been so worth my time as a viewer to watch and support this, and having seen something like this it feels wrong to not have more of it. I'm not saying it is or isn't life changing, I'm just saying it's worthy, insightful, challenging, and good, in a world with a current drought of this. Not formulaic, not predictable, not shallow, not cliche riddled, not full of tropes. Congratulations JG-L and team. Thanks for a beautiful journey.
Don't let it end.
