The story, overall, was presented in a very gripping method giving us bits and pieces to increase our curiosity and Jai did an absolutely wonderful job to carry us on this journey.
Nonetheless, the rationale behind the scenario was what really spurred our agitation
DELICIOUS
---The introductory scenes quickly caught our attention with deaths taking place at different time periods-we were paying attention
-Kokila (Divya Duraisamy), her husband (Jai), and her husband's niece were simply superb in their performances. They were able to manipulate our feelings from love, happiness, anger, to bitterness
-The film showed a web of crimes committed due to grudges and/or guilt, more like an eye for an eye. The story was intricate, we couldn't guess what exactly was going on; the suspense really kept us going till the end
-Suseenthiran directed the narrative in a provocative way showing us just enough without revealing the hidden truths; the plot had several components with additional characters along the way to fuel our interest
BLAND
---Few facts didn't add up, e.g. The little girl Chitra couldn't have drowned within seconds of being rescued from her fall;
the investigation of a complex chain of events was quickly solved without even conducting an autopsy on Kokila's body
-What was quite infuriating was that Eeshwaran (Kokila's husband) was painted as the immaculate guy when in fact he was the source of all problems. That was too audacious!
The deliberate neglect towards his wife and the lack of responsibility to halt his wife's & niece's constant fights contributed to the absence of moral support and chaos in his household.
And to think that Eeshwaran's uncle (Aruldoss) prided himself that the men of his family "worship women" 😣 😣
---Harish Uthaman, who had an important role, sadly failed to display genuine emotions; he didn't seem engrossed in the spirit of his character.
