Tense Episode - loved it

After a slow start to the series this episode really was excellent. The tension just never stopped. Because of episode 2 you knew how some things would go down, but not knowing was really entertaining to sit back and see it play out. Really liking this season 2.

Just kill the zombie together?

Getting the firewood and saving the brother could easily have been solved by killing the zombie. Between them they have a lot of guns. If they would just open the door and all fire at its head as it runs toward them it would have died guaranteed. I love this series, but almost every episode contains a few pieces of idiotic writing. And why did they think it was a good idea to shoot eachother on the top floor? Everyone should know by now that shooting people and having them return as a zombie almost never works out. But that's excusable given the intensity of the situation.

The Rules Of The Game

Definitely one of the best episodes in the entire franchise. With everything we know about people's stories and traumas we have already seen and heard, it is beginning to be established that the people who will last the longest are the ones who can work as a team. The family lost because they allowed the most aggressive and most erratic person to lead. The couple lost because they allowed themselves to be split up. Rose and Anna always stuck together, communicated well, stayed armed and ready. It is a true example of how Zombie flicks are at their best when they show in clever ways the Zombies are not the only monsters in the stories.

I think giving 2 stars for such a tense episode is unbelievable - the reasons are even more unbelievable. People, if you watch on a TV or a Laptop or any other device, make sure that the sun is not ruining your experience or simply turn off the lights. Am I really giving advice right now? I think I'm just amazed that people call episodes "unwatchable" just because you know, for dumb reasons.

Massacre

This Episode begins with Mom, she gives a speech for Rhonda, Freddie and Sonny. Rose and Anna enter Mom, Freddie, Mark, Sonny and Rhonda their house. Freddie plays a card game with Rose and Anna. Freddie stopped playing the card game quickly, he did not know the ruled for the game. It gets clear that Mom is Freddie his mother. Freddie got chased by a zombie. Sonny shot Rhonda to death. Rhonda turned into a zombie. Rose shot Rhonda to death. Rose shot Mom to death. Anna shot Sonny to death. Nice Episode of Black Summer Season 2, this was really good once again. This Season has a great potential. Looking forward to more of this!

[6.9] Stupidity knows no limit

A sort of tense filler episode where characters behave in such irrational, stupid, weak, psychotic and frightened way that it's just mind-numbing and dismal.

After all, with six remaining crazy people half-loaded with spirits in a house in a dark cold night with looming olympic zombies outside, what could possibly go wrong?!

Real threats were outside, until they decided to create babies of their own inside!

For direction, you are kindly asked to just listen to the growls and flashes of gun fires...

In the dark

Almost this entire episode is filmed completely in the dark with the odd flashlight every now and then. It's basically unwatchable.

So Much Happening This Season

Wow, the pace is just amazing. I'm a bit upset that good characters like Rhonda and the crazy Mom go so soon, but still this is so much better than season 1. Just wow!
