Kaadakalam was a powerful story about our connection and respect for nature. It was one of those tales that we expected so much from but sadly didn't get much...
DELICIOUS
-Father-son had a beautiful chemistry. The amount of affection Murugan showered on Kunjapoo made you wanna just have a father like him😊 Such a genuine performance
-Kaadakalam was a refreshing story that took us into the depths of the forest, displaying its beauty, serenity, and liveliness; it was a gentle wake-up call on the necessity to preserve our natural environment amidst industrialization
-The location team scouted amazing spots both in the city and forest
BLAND
-With an amazing theme on nature, the storytelling regretfully missed a lot of enthusiasm; there was no gripping climax, the film was monotonous all throughout.
We understand that the pace was intentionally slow; nonetheless, being a movie, it should have been projected in a way that grabbed and retained viewers' attention
--The characters Bobby and his father failed to deliver memorable performances; adding no dimension to the film
-Cinematography told the story in a documentary format with repetitive wide-angle shots of the forest and drone shots capturing the same areas. Nothing too inspiring.
