"Family is what's important"
skteosk6 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Some nice themes running through this episode as the street's youngsters celebrate Father's Day...or not as the case may be.Callum and Ben's desperate attempts to raise money are rather amusing, especially when they end up facing off against Donna.Ben's reaction to Sophie's dismissive attitude is very insightful but ultimately they find a way to include their friend in things.Top comedy in Ben helpfully revealing Karl and Susan went back to bed and Libby's awkward reaction.

Dan finds himself forced to choose family loyalty as Toadie continues to snipe childishly at Lucas. And Steph is forced to face the possibility of a lack of family loyalty as Elle delivers a few home truths.

Meanwhile, Donna is trying to deal with her maybe-brother, resulting in some hilarious scenes of her attempting to sell off her worldly goods ("I sold my hair straighteners, my life is ruined,"she moans at one point), even being desperate enough to call Amanda for help. It's nice that Elle still trusts Lucas enough to listen to his warnings about James but unfortunately Donna is more easily manipulated and ends up making a very unfortunate choice.
