Family!

Warning: Spoilers
I can go on about plot, scenery, action, but what this show comes down to is people and what they mean.

Sure the plot for this episode was hardly unique: drug Lord demands and people die, but beyond that was a real look at humanity.

The team are are faced with reassignment and all that it represents, while Hondo is dealing with actions caused by choices - his and others.

I'm the end, when he walks back in... well that is what this show all about.

Amid the whole Covid madness, this show is the one to escape into.

I really enjoyed watching this episode, I could way that there are some things that could have been better but it worth to watch.

Recommend if you're a fan from SWAT series and their characters.

Another expert episode; beautifully choreographed. And great to have the family back. And this UK viewer means "1great" with a capital "G". As I said in my review for episode 1, this is feature film level.

Warning: Spoilers
I could follow Hondo around all day, not only is he a bad ass but he has a conscious and a path that he follows. While the final showdown wasn't as awesome as people would expect, it's not a movie lol it's a TV episode, so i get the limitations.

But for what it was, it was pretty darn good and yet again shows us a deeper side to Hondo than generally shown.

As for the rest of the team, stay liquid! Hondo is coming home!

After terrible season 4, first episode of season 5 really scared me, because Hondo is just not that exciting character to follow him 90% of screen time. Second episode was a bit better, but I really hope this series can get back to badass action sequences and focus on team instead of focusing on personal life of team members, especially because some of them have actually quite boring personal life, like Hondo and Deacon :D More exciting investigations, please! Don't mind the development of Street and Alonso romantic story though, just don't mess it up. Also, love Luca, I missed him in seasons 3 and 4 when he was away, I hope this doesn't happen again and also that he will not be staying in the office(

bad

The episode could have been a good action one, but the writers made it to ridiculous, maybe they should get the writers from chicago PD or seal team to show them how to make the action believable. The acting was good, just the script let it down.
