Having originally started life on radio with some of the same cast, this was the episode that launched 'Miranda' on tv, and displays all the wonderful elements that make it so beloved today.

A really good funny first episode, that manages to introduce all the characters and tell a fun story all at the same time.

"Such fun" indeed.

I started watching Miranda after following the incredible Tom Ellis from the equally incredible Lucifer and was not disappointed. What an absolute gem Miranda is. This first episode is gently and very funny. I am already in love with the characters and Tom as Gary is shaping up to be the friend/lover we all want. I can't wait to watch all of the episodes.
