Stephen is secretly filmed explaining that Armageddon follows should The Third Testament not appear, people begin rioting.
I thought episode one was excellent, I don't think this second was up to quite the same standard. It's still very good, but I think all of the good stuff happened in the first, it does a good job of focusing on the despair and rage felt by many.
The way Stephen's dad Frank is manipulated by PC Simon Lincoln is one of the best elements of the episode, it's cruel in a way, and shows how easily someone can be led down a dark path to despair, it's almost relevant in today's age with social media the way it is.
It continues to be well acted, Eccleston terrific once again, I thought Lesley Sharp, Kenny Doughty and Peter Wight were also very good in support.
6/10.
