Nothing
branken-1645630 May 2016
Its a video recording of nothing, absolutely nothing. It's not even deserving of being called a movie. As a matter of fact I was looking for some place on the internet to state this. Saw some of it on Amazon and stopped after 5 minutes and forwarded, watched for another 3 minutes and forwarded again and nothing, absolutely nothing. This isn't really a review because it's not a movie. It's just a statement about some nothingness that was recorded by someone who had "nothing" better to do. Absolutely nothing.............OK, so apparently I have to write a min of 10 lines in order to submit this. OK, seriously, just like others have stated about this video recording, ( I refuse to acknowledge this nothingness as movie or call this a review) its people running around a neighborhood. For Amazon to actually show this is just plain wrong. $99 a year and I get this!?!?

Terrible. Simply terrible.

Warning: Spoilers
THE SECOND BEST SCIENCE FICTION MOVIE EVER MADE is a dumb title for what is an incredibly dumb production, one of the very worst I've seen. It was made in 1996 and took an incredible fourteen years to get released, and having just finished watching it, I can see why. This is a film in which a bunch of astronauts return to Earth and sit around in a field talking, and that's it. There's no plot structure, no proper acting, a dead-headed script, and much boredom. What the point of it all is I have no idea, other than to make every other film in existence look good by comparison.

A thoroughly enjoyable film. Watch it NOW!

Akin to watching a train wreck or road-side accident this piece captivated and fascinated me in a morbid, perverse sort of way. It is so thoroughly terrible in every way as to be mesmerizing. It should be required viewing by every person involved in future sci-fi productions as the platinum standard of what to not do. Too often we as a society overlook the innate value of bad examples, and this one is of the highest caliber. This work, while likely a labor of love for those involved, serves as a shining beacon to those making future films of what must be avoided, much like a lighthouse in a storm warns away ships in the night.
