You just launched a newly redesigned, curated destination site, intended to highlight and showcase quality online programming in an easily navigable environment for current and would-be consumers of online video content. Because you often sell out of your ad inventory, you’re hoping this new site will attract more viewers, which will create more inventory against which you can sell more ads. You’re certain the new site will naturally accrue more users over time, but you know it doesn’t hurt to accelerate that growth by marketing the property and its premiere content. Cult comic book ElfQuest - created by Wendy and Richard Pini in 1978 - is experiencing a resurgence of interest thanks to a new fan trailer.
Wendy and Richard joined the trailer's production team and cast on a panel discussion - ElfQuest: From the Woods to the Web - at San Diego Comic-Con.
New media producers/actors Stephanie Thorpe (Gold: Night of the Zombie King) and Paula Rhodes (A Good Knight's Quest) collaborated to create the fan-made, non-profit trailer ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining, which has been gathering support since launching in April at the Screen Actors Guild new media premiere. You can watch the clip below.
Lifelong fans of the comic, Thorpe and Rhodes pooled their skills and resources, along with a cast of 'women of the web' and donations from other devoted fans, to create a live-action exploration of the world of Two Moons.

Unskippable is Mystery Science Theater 3000 for the Xbox generation.
