The entire film was shot over a four day span. Originally it had been scheduled for 5 days, but the crew finished ahead of schedule.
In early pre-production, the idea to shoot the film on 35mm film was tossed around. Eventually, the idea was shot down, because director Michael Leonberger said that the film was "an actors piece" and he didn't want to restrict any choices in the editing room.
Was selected to make its World Premiere at the Fetisch Film Festival in Kiel, Germany in October, 2011.
