Warning: Spoilers
If you thought this was The Big One...think again. We get about two minutes of the trial, consisting of Sam completely failing to expose the fact that Kate's been harassed by the defence, after which Donna walks out and the whole sequence gets abandoned bar a couple of throwaway remarks.Paul proves himself completely inept as a manipulator, suggesting his intelligence is directly proportionate to whether the writers want him to succeed or not.

Other than that, we just get the same as the last six weeks and a few years before that:Karl and Paul roughing each other up, Zeke losing his temper with everyone, Steph claiming a moral high ground that doesn't even exist, Donna wanting everyone to be happy and smiling when her husband's just died, Toadie demonstrating no professional ethics whatsoever...All this, padded beyond belief by a subplot of Lucas being in a strop because Steph doesn't need him.

If the show wants people to keep watching, they've a funny way of showing it.
