Great Viewing
lesleyt-654177 August 2015
I loved this film, it really challenged me. The 'absolute honesty' of film maker Tom is something to behold....but the film really makes you think hard about yourself and your intentions, motives & actions in life. Tom, who follows his boss Tony and girlfriend Amanda with a camera, is also a subject in the film. Each of the characters are completely likable, but you can't help really feeling for them under Tom's scrutiny, as he endeavors to make a really honest film of how they go about achieving their dreams. I was very impressed that this film 'captured' me for the entire movie....sometimes that doesn't even happen for me with a major blockbuster, so I feel I can thoroughly recommend this as great viewing. 9 out of 10 for me.

Work vs. Relationships - A Raw, Thought Provoking Story
alex-41-30978430 March 2017
Although it made for uncomfortable viewing at times, this film was a fascinatingly raw depiction of creative endeavor vs. personal relationships; A theme that many artists struggle with on a daily basis. I doubt many people would be as brave (or naive?) as the filmmaker in putting their closest allies, and ultimately themselves, under the microscope. It really does cause one to examine their own work/life balance. This would be interesting for anyone working as a creative, or anyone who knows one well! The storyline is solid and the editing is excellent, keeping the pace all the way through. A filmmaker's journey worth witnessing for sure.
