In a nutshell on this finale of last season's "The Big Bang Theory": Bernadette announces she's getting her diploma and is being offered a job at a pharmaceutical company so she's a doctor and getting lots of money. Howard, despite being the only one not getting the respectable title his other friends now have, seems nonplussed about his fiancée's good fortune. Meanwhile, Raj-not wanting to constantly have to deal with his sister and Leonard's lovemaking-temporarily moves to Sheldon's despite the latter's making new contracts. That sister, Priya, is about to make the moves again when her parents once again visits her site. It's there Leonard finds out she's moving back to India in a month and those parents find out about their daughter's relationship with him. Very awkward. Back at Sheldon's, Penny has dinner with him and Raj with alcohol involved. After Sheldon goes to his room, the others have a conversation. If you haven't seen this ep, I don't want to spoil it for you but it leads to something even more awkward. Anyway, this was as fine as any a way to end the previous season of "The Big Bang Theory" and it's making me even more anxious to watch this season's eps. So until next time...

Nice ending of the season. The whole thing with Bernadette getting her doctorate was a fun story. I am very happy that Leonard and Priya broke up. And I really liked the end of the episode. So something happened between Penny and Raj and Leonard knows it! Funny how Raj still couldn't talk to Penny.

Lots of questions going in. What is the future for Leonard and Priya. If Raj moves in with Sheldon for a while, what will happen? If Bernadette is making a fortune in her new job, how will this affect Howard? These and many other things, including Penny's role in all this get some play. Really funny episode.

This was a great episode of 'The Big Bang Theory'.
Striking a strong balance of plot and character interaction, this zips along at pace, with everyone getting their moment.
The fourth series for me really has been the one where it has felt like the pieces are finally coming together - you can see what this show wants to be, and it has gained confidence in that.
Jim Parsons has always been great as Sheldon, but now it feels like much more of an ensemble piece, and any of the characters can now carry storylines along the way.
This had an awful lot going for it as an episode, and it delivers well.

The third season was my favourite and I was worried that adding Amy into the cast would jump the shark and ruin the show just as it was really hitting its stride. The writers managed to integrate her pretty seamlessly into the flow of the show and a lot of the storylines with her and Sheldon were done pretty well. My only worry is that the writing for the rest of the show is starting to fall off slightly. The whole situation with Leonard and Priya felt forced and seemed like it was only added into the show to bring Leonard and Penny's lingering feelings to the surface. This could've just as easily been done with Penny's on and off boyfriend Zack who was a much funnier character.
