Anyone who was hoping the painful April/Dexter relationship is a thing of the past will be disappointed by this episode, in which Dexter stands staring at April getting undressed in the bathroom to demonstrate that he still likes her.Yes, it's as bad as that and then he goes and tops it by lying to Lottie.The character is on the verge of being ruined again which is a shame given he's had a lot of very good moments lately, especially with standing up to Harvey.
At least if you sit through enough of it there's some good April/Heath scenes, although sadly it climaxes with Heath getting drunk a lot.It's hard to tell whether Brax's response, which could generously be called "tough love", is appropriate or not but the sledgehammer subtle way he suddenly mentions their father really does make you cringe.
Roo and Lottie's plan to cheer Harvey up with a picnic seems woefully misguided.While Roo and Harvey's relationship still doesn't entirely convince and feels like an unnecessary intrusion in a storyline that doesn't really need her, at least it seems to bring things to an end.
