When Pam and Andy are arguing about who is supposed to answer the phone you can hear Creed (mimicking Stanley Hudson's voice) yell "answer the damn phone." It sounds like Stanley, but since he is in Tallahassee working on the Sabre store, he couldn't have said it.
In a deleted scene Creed reveals that he's worked for the company for 45 years, since the company sold rugs and was called Rug King. This was part of a deleted subplot in which Andy remains at reception in order to avoid Kelly and Creed, who are both after him for a raise.
This is the 1st time we've heard the reception phone answered with a name since DeAngelo Vickers (Will Ferrell) suggested leaving it off.
Nelly says she once spent a night with Hugh Grant's "slightly uglier older brother John." Hugh Grant doesn't have a brother named John. Hugh Grant does have an older brother, but his name is Jamie.
Cathy suggests each Sabre store have a different theme, "a beach one, a winter one, a jungle one." This is a reference to Fry's, a now-defunct chain of electronics stores. Most stores had themes like "Wild West," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Steampunk" for the Palo Alto, Woodland Hills, and City of Industry stores, respectively.
