When Naruto was Born

Warning: Spoilers
Naruto and Kushina keep handling the Kyuubi. In the meantime, Killer B praises Yamato, but he did nothing to stop Naruto's transformation. Still, he is aware that they can do anything for Naruto, just have faith on him and wait. Inside, Naruto returns to the fight, feeling quiet and happy. Kushina keeps the Kyuubi tied while he, again in Sage Mode, attacks him trying to get his chakra. The Kyuubi frees himself from most of the chains, and fights back, but Naruto is more powerful than never and creates enough clones with rasengans to knock him out. Kushina uses the last chain to keep the Kyuubi on the ground, and Naruto, after using a rasenshuriken, finally manages to extract a part of the chakra he wanted. The Fox gets thinner, and is very angry. Naruto transforms, but this time he is covered by a yellow shinning cloak (like fire). When the Kyuubi creates a huge Bijuu dama, Naruto is amazed by the big amount of power he still has, but uses the key in time to lock him again. The Kyuubi was surprised by Naruto's power, and says he won't forget this. Instead, Naruto feels sorry, and tells he will reward him, just keep waiting a little more. Back with Kushina, she congratulates him. This part was full of action, and though was a bit fantastic, yet entertaining. Could be said that Naruto was encouraged, and so happy after meeting his mother, that he could do anything, like his energy was limitless. He felt the power of his mother's love. Another thing to remark was that Naruto wasn't proud of taking the Kyuubi's chakra. Somehow, he knows the Fox suffers for being always caught, imprisoned forever, and so he doesn't like the idea of fueling his anger and hatred. He is thankful to the Fox, and that's why he says that one day he will compensate him.

Then, other touching moments come. Naruto asks his mother what she is going to do now, where she'll go, and she says that she will reunite with Minato. He gets saddened, but still, she wants to tell him something more before leaving, about the incident of 16 years ago. She starts with a big revelation: she was the previous jinchuriki of the Kyuubi. That's why she was brought from Uzushiogakure to Konoha, and the information was a secret only known by the third Hokage, and the two members of the council. Turns out that the people from that village has longer lives, are masters in sealing jutsu, and have big reserves of chakra. Kushina tells that her mother taught Minato many sealing techniques, surely including the Tetragrams seal on Naruto. She also explains that though she was an outsider (Naruto questions why she was taken from another land), Uzushiogakure and Konoha had a strong alliance because the Senju clan and the Uzumaki were related. In the years of war, Uzushiogakure was attacked and destroyed because other villages looked for theie knowledge and powers of the sealing jutsu. The remaining survivors spread around the world (this can explain Karin's presence). Kushina also reveals that after the battle between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, the Kyuubi was in control by Konoha. So, Mito Uzumaki, who would be Hashirama's wife, became the first jinchuriki of the village. When Kushina was brought, Mito was very old, and comforted her over the burden of being a jinchuriki. She shared the same destiny, and knew about the sadness and loneliness of a jinchuriki, coming from another village. Still, Kushina recalls that Mito told her that she could be happy despite that, by filling her life with love. She was happy as a jinchuriki, sharing love with Minato (and surely her parents). This makes Naruto cry, as he is shaken by the idea of being happy as a jinchuriki. Anyway, then, he remembers what his father told him about the masked man's role at the Kyuubi incident. Kushina guesses that Minato didn't have much time to explain, and tells the sad story about when Naruto was born: she found out she was pregnant at the hospital, and then, back at home, she celebrates the news with her husband, who was excited and surprised because he was going to be a dad (Simply beautiful scene). Then, Hiruzen and his wife Biwako went to explain them that during the pregnancy, the seal containing the Kyuubi would get weaker until the baby was born. By that time, Minato already was the 4th Hokage, but Hiruzen made a plan so the baby would born in the safest conditions. He would prepare a place outside Konoha, protected by a barrier, and guarded by ANBU of his trust. Biwako and an ANBU, Taji would be present with Minato and Kushina for Naruto's birth. The day of the birth, Kushina was accompanied by Biwako, and in the road he found Mikoto, who was holding the baby Sasuke. She kindly greeted her and asked if the baby was a girl, so Mikoto told her that he is a boy and his name is Sasuke. Biwako recalls like the name of Hiruzen's father (they'll be nothing alike), while Kushina hopes their sons can be friends, aftr telling her own baby's name, Naruto. She then whispers her friend if the labor hurts much. Mikoto confirms and is surprised that Kushina would be afraid of something. Anyway, as they must go, Biwako suddenly takes Kushina so they can leave, and tells her that everything must be in secret, even from friends. She asks her to be quiet on their way to the prepared location. On october 10, Kushina was in labor process. Minato was there to watch the seal, and to take care of his wife, whoobviously was in big pain. Biwako and Taji served as midwives, especially Biwako who was the one who welcomed Naruto to the world. The birth was a success, while outside, Tobi was murdered the ANBU guarding the building. Kushina tells Naruto that the masked man somehow knew everything, where the birth was going to be, and that on that time, the seal contaning the Kyuubi would be at its weakest point.

Just like in last episode, the storyline was excellent. The revelation of Kushina being the previous jinchuriki was a stunning surprise. Still, serves to give Naruto a lot of comfort in that beautiful moment when Kushina told him how happy she was despite being a jinchuriki. She filled her life with love, and this is what Naruto could do with Iruka, Jiraiya, Sakura, Kakashi, Tsunade, and the rest. At first, Naruto was upset and angry because his mother was brought from another village to be a jinchuriki, but then he was comforted and happy to see that she understood him better than anyone, that she could teach him how to remain happy despite their burden. About the story, the parallelism between Kushina and Mito Uzumaki was well played. The wife of the 1st and the wife of the 4th. Both jinchuriki, from Uzumaki clan coming from the same village. The destiny of Uzushiogakure was sad, but at least Kushina could grow up with her parents, and Minato got to know and learn from his mother in law. Looks like Naruto's grandmother was a nice woman too. Then, it's great to see Hiruzen's role in all this. His character is being expanded with each new revelation. He took the responsibility of Kushina, and entrusted his wife Biwako the role to protect her. And he trusted Minato to be the next Hokage, considering him a better man. About Kushina and Mikoto, was a nice moment that only makes the future more sad. They were friends, so Naruto and Sasuke could have been true friends since little, if the Kyuubi incident hadn't happened. The childbirth was a nice moment, with Minato being the lovely husband, but also the Hokage, as Biwako told him. To finish, I want to praise the soundtrack once again, besides cinematography. There's a lightful tone on each time when Kushina and Minato are present. They show how joyful was everything before.
