Yeah Rite is a short film that addresses the conflict between atheists and Christians in an ironic manner.
Stew is the first atheist to be given a license to perform the ancient Rite of Exorcism. Teamed with a blind priest, he travels to a small town on his first assignment. Convinced that demons do not exist, Stew has no intention of performing the ritual and instead fancies himself a counselor. He views the girl's eccentricities as a cry for help.
As the film progresses, it becomes clear to us that she is in fact possessed, but no matter what the demon does to prove it to Stew, the atheist can think of a way the girl could be faking it.
In the ensuing battle of wits, the demon tries all manner of theatrics to prey on his fears, becoming increasingly frustrated and ultimately turning from villain to victim as it is terrorized by Stew.
