Few names in Hollywood's illustrious history get people talking quite like Joan Crawford. The legendary actress began her career in silent films before transitioning to sound, and worked for decades, appearing in more than 80 films and television shows. Director Kurt Wimmer‘s new take on Stephen King‘s horror novel Children of the Corn first arrived in theaters earlier this month, and up next it comes to Digital on March 21.
What about physical media, you ask? We’ve learned this week that Children of the Corn 2023 will be hitting Blu-ray on May 9, 2023, with Deleted Scenes included on the disc.
The new movie is the eleventh overall installment in the long-running franchise, and the first movie in the saga since John Gulager’s Children of the Corn: Runaway in 2018.
In Wimmer’s movie, which is said to have very little to do with King’s novel, “Possessed by a spirit in a dying cornfield, a twelve-year-old girl in Nebraska recruits the other children in her small town to go on a bloody rampage and kill all the adults and anyone else who opposes her.
