Important subjects brought up. But those fake babies were really distracting. If you are using fakes, at least shoot the episodes in a way that it is not visible that they are dolls... Good idea to shine more light on postpartum depression. Some of the dialogue between Devon and Leela is out of character and sounded as cheap way to push a lately popular opinion. Don't think anyone who truly wants kids will all of a sudden decide going to restaurants are a better option for their future, just because they saw someone struggling with newborns. Also, Leela thinking her sister sounded upbeat and fine is not believable for the character, but I guess it is a way to bring light to families, which miss the signs of new mothers struggling.

A River in Egypt

Warning: Spoilers
Trying to discover immortality and wondering if there is life after death are always fun philosophical questions to ask, but they make for good TV in particular when done on a medical drama. It also likened back images to the good, but short-lived show Proof.
This was a decent enough episode, but the pacing and direction got lost a bit as the hour progressed. This ended up being a filler episode and nothing more, despite all of the promise that it started with. Regardless, Season 6 of The Resident has kept up the quality of season 5 and the show continues to be worth watching, even if most shows on FOX are not.

Pudmuh realized caring for babies is "hard."
"This is hard," she said. It only took a little crying from twins to cause her to feel unable to handle the situation. Her vain, frivolous fertility plan led to that exact situation, but it is doubtful she will take the time to reflect on her vanity and frivolity.
The ridiculous dolls used for the babies might get viewers' attention, but in a negative way. Ugly and pathetic. Surely more effort could have been made. Optimistically, it could be hoped the dolls are a metaphor for the fake and pathetic personality of Pudmuh, as well as those who coddle her.
