Warning: Spoilers
As Ollie and our other lady-lawyer go hot and heavy under the sheets, our jury system comes under review in this rather piercing episode.

After two months of being sequestered, a young jurist flees the case. Alternate jurors weren't available to replace her when she asked to be let out. This was one part of the story that I didn't quite comprehend. Alternate jurors always have to be available in the event that a juror becomes ill or has a family emergency.

The same judge who presided over the case shall oversee the case against the fleeing juror as well. Isn't there an ethical problem here? We know what the solution is but at least the imperfections of the jury system are brought out.

The second case, dealing with the effects of reality television, was most interesting. The family of a man who committed suicide sues the widow for lambasting him constantly on the show. This story is intriguing as it shows what these types of shows shall do in order to get people to view them. Shame.

Christopher McDonald

I have always liked Christopher McDonald as an actor, especially when he plays a good guy! Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic villian... who didn't love 'Shooter McGavin' in "Happy Gilmore"?

In "Harry's Law", he's initially showed as an antagonist, with an ego larger than life, popping off sarcastic one liners and addressing opponents by not so welcome names. Over time, his character matures, a little, to show his vulnerability, big heart, intelligence, kindness and compassion. He is a sentimental and truly loving man. Its been great watching his transformation over the course of the show. It's a shame this show was canceled.
