As part of her new album, Aretha Franklin took on one of the biggest hits in recent memory: Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." The Queen of Soul digs in during this rollicking cover, which segues and mashes up into Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." The tune is featured on "Aretha Franklin Takes on the Great Diva Classics," the 72-year-old's new covers album due on Oct. 21. Clive Davis oversaw production on "Great Diva Classics," with producers like Andre 3000 and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds helping on songs like Etta James' "At Last," the Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On," Alicia Keys' "No One," Dinah Washington's "Teach Me Tonight" and a version of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" that blends with Destiny's Child's "Survivor."...

"Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical" is headed to Sin City for an 11-week engagement at The Venetian, beginning June 18. Wade McCollum, Scott Willis and Bryan West star along with Bob Hart in the touring production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit.
The musical, based on the 1994, drag queen comedy film, "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" follows the guys as they travel through the Australian Outback searching for love and friendship. The bonus is they find more than they dreamed they would along the way. "Priscilla" features more than 20 pop hits and dance floor favorites, like "Material Girl," "I Will Survive," "It's Raining Men," and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."
Oscar winners Lizzy Gardiner and Tim Chappel received Tony Awards for costume design when the show hit Broadway. But Gardiner told Zap2it the 500-plus over-the-top costumes could have been even more outrageous. "In all my experience,...

Ten has revealed the first look of its new ‘all singing all dancing’ competition, I Will Survive.
The show aims to find Australia’s next Broadway performer for the Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert stage show, which has been axed.
Contestants compete in the seven Outback locations across Australia where the original Priscilla bus stopped in the film, before moving on to New York for the finale.
However, despite finishing the seven-stop Outback shoot, first prize has not yet been confirmed.
Initially first prize, along with $250,000, was to include a spot in the cast of the Broadway version of the show, the Palace Theater show closed on 24 June.
A spokesperson for FremantleMedia said: “We’re now working on something equally fabulous to showcase their talents in New York.”
The sneak peak shows a number of men in drag including 23 year-old Adrian who works at his dad’s truck...
