Make way for the Queen of England

I feel that this episode was a great start to the series, and had a good deal of drama that has been set up straight away to then unfold later on in the series.

Some great actors that have been cast in this series and a good job they did by casting the wonderful Rebecca Fergusson.

Episode 1 is exactly what is needed for the start of a new series to hook in the viewers at home. This has definitely made me want to continue the series, to see the beautiful craftsmanship of that Philippa Gregory has written, elegantly displayed on our screens at home.

Episode One - In Love with the King

I believe this is my thirty-third series that I am watching on this profile and making amateur reviews, but I believe it is the first medieval one.

I really don't know what I thought of the series, it made me curious about this That's So Raven thing, in fact Raven is more powerful than this new queen.

Cecilia almost broke her back to bow to her.

I remember that when I watched series just to watch them, I saw James Frain a lot in several series, this time it's the first time I've seen him in the series I'm watching on my profile.

Max Irons, the king, is the son of Jeremy Irons, who voiced Scar in The Lion King and brilliantly played Pope Rodrigo Borgias in The Borgias, I recommend it.

Previous Series: The Dropout (2022)

Episode one of the first season of the Miniseries The White Queen watched on May 26, 2024.

Rating: 5/10.
