Iqbal, Aliya, and Uzma are classmates at university. Durdana Aliya's mother manages the falling business of her blind husband. In such a scenario, she wants her daughter to marry Iftikhar, who can invest in her business, while Aliya likes Iqbal. One day, Aliya is shocked to see Iqbal working as a waiter. Iqbal has informed that he also works at a publishing company to help pay for his university expenses. Iqbal, whom she also loves, betrayed her, and she regrets it. After Aliya doesn't pick up the phone calls, Iqbal sneaks into Aliya's house late at night to convince her. After hearing his justification, Aliya tells him to leave. What would be the justification if someone woke up? In the meantime, a knock caused Akhter, Aliya's father, to open his eyes. Due to Akhtar's blindness, Aliya lies and claims that no one else is present. Iqbal walks with stifled feet. The father's heart is filled with doubt. He tells his wife that Aliya likes someone, but Durdana does not believe him.

Losses in business have placed Durdana under strain. She believes that getting her daughter married to Iftikhar is the only way to relieve this burden. She talks to Aliya about Iftikhar often, and Aliya acknowledges that she likes Iqbal more and doesn't have a crush on Iftikhar. Iqbal is not acceptable to Durdana. Aliya, however, is of the opinion that life should be spent with the people she loves. Durdana has no intention of accepting this connection.

When Durdana sees that her daughter is somehow not changing her mind, she goes to Iqbal's house, where she meets Iqbal's sister-in-law. Durdana threatens that if Iqbal does not remove the thought of her daughter from his heart, he will suffer an accidental death. Aliya finds out about this. She meets Iftikhar and tells him that she will not marry him because she likes her classmate.

Iftikhar painfully advises Durdana to let her marry where she wants to. Durdana is angry that her daughter told Iftikhar that she likes someone else. Iqbal's sick brother dies, and his troubles increase. Aliya wants to go to Iqbal's place for condolences, but Durdana stops her. Aliya refuses to obey her and goes to Iqbal's house. After the death of Iqbal's brother, everyone is thinking of getting him married to his widowed sister-in-law.

Durdana's daughter, Aliya, is similarly obstinate. She surprises Jam Muhammad, the affluent father of one of her friends, Farkhanda, by offering to propose marriage to him after realizing that her mother values money more than qualities in relationships, which is the reason she hasn't been able to find a boyfriend.

Farkhanda doesn't like her friend taking her mother's place, but Aliya challenges her to stop if she can. Jam Muhammad holds the opinion that whomever has the guts to resist when the moon wants to land in their cradle would experience bad luck. Durdana and Farkhanda's schemes fails, and Aliya marries Jam Muhammad. Uzma, who aided Iqbal in his darkest hour, now realizes that the one he loves is married, and therefore the gulf between them has been bridged. Under these circumstances, Iqbal then asks her to marry him. "The blind yearn for two eyes."

Aliya is persuaded by Jam Mohammad that the incident is over, and that she should make amends with her mother. Aliya agrees. Farkhanda believes that Aliya wed her father solely for financial gain. In an effort to discredit her stepmother Aliya in her father's eyes, she is looking for any weakness in her. Farkhanda visits Durdana in the hopes that she will reveal the name of the boy that Aliya loves because she is aware that Aliya's mother is opposed to the relationship.
